Seasons Change Even in the Swamp
Hiking on the greenbelt is one of my favorite things to do here in Boise.
For those not familiar, this is a greenbelt. I didn't know people didn't know what greenbelts were. My girlfriend is from California and had no idea.
For us in Idaho, this trail along the front of the river goes for miles though.
This time of year the leaves are changing and if you are patient, you can find some neat things.
A rent hike down by the water brought us to this spot.
The leaves are all changing to orange and red, yet, for some reason thus swamp seemed so vibrant and alive.
I wanted to share because it left with a decent perspective.
Life can be quite varied, with seasonal changes causing one reaction then right next door, things are relatively normal.
