ON TOP OF LONDON
There is a lot of history in this city. Everywhere you look, there seems to be something of note.
From this tower, over 80 years ago, the BBC transmitted the first ever live TV broadcast. This spot was probably chosen because of the altitude of the grounds upon which the palace was built. Ally-pally is on one of the highest spots, if not the very highest, in London. There are contenders such as the Royal Observatory at Greenwich and the hill at Hampsted Heath.
Peace & Love,
Adé
The observatory at Greenwich is one location I would like to visit if I ever make it to London. Do they allow visitors?
