Again, Kim Jong-Un’s Education history, like his birth, and early life, is shrouded in mystery.

However this much is so far known, and confirmed as true: Kim Jong-un spent time as a youth at a prestigious boarding school in Switzerland between 1998 to 2000.

There at Switzerland where he was enrolled under the names: "Pak Un" and vouched for as the son of an employee of the North Korean embassy, Kim Jong-Un would attend an English-language international school in Gümligen, near Bern.

All accounts given by former classmates describe Kim Jong-Un in a glowing light.

Much in contrast to accounts given by the critics of the DPRK regime, Kim is said to have been a likable character, described as a quiet student who spent most of his time at home, but who also had a sense of humor.

"He was funny," Marco Imhof, a former classmate said, as reported by The Mirror. "Always good for a laugh."

"He had a sense of humor; got on well with everyone, even those pupils who came from countries that were enemies of North Korea."

The youthful Kim Jong-Un loved sports, particularly Basketball, which, despite his height, he was surprisingly good at. Indeed, he had posters of Jordan, his then favorite player all over his wall during the Swiss School days.

"He was a fiercely competitive player, very explosive," former classmate Nikola Kovacevic told The Mirror. "He was the play maker. He made things happen."

"He hated to lose. Winning was very important," said former classmate Marco Imhof, adding that Kim also kept a fantastic collection of Nike Sneakers.

Upon his return to North Korea, Kim Jong Un attended Kim Il Sung Military University, (named after his grandfather) in the capital of Pyongyang in the mid-2000s.
