A few days ago, the day Bitcoin Pizza Day was celebrated, I shared on my blog a little figurine (called Pizzy) in allusion to this celebration.

I titled that post “Looking for a Pizza”, because that's what Pizzy was looking for, to eat a pizza. Although Bitcoin Pizza Day has passed, I'd like to share with you what I did that day. While I didn't go out to buy pizzas, I did buy the ingredients to make pizzas as a family, of course, accompanied by Pizzy. It is worth mentioning that I bought the ingredients with cryptocurrencies (Hive).

Hace unos cuantos días, el día en que se celebró el Bitcoin Pizza Day, compartí en mi blog una pequeña figurita (llamada Pizzy) en alusión a esta celebración.

Aquel post lo titulé "Buscando una Pizza", pues eso era lo que buscaba Pizzy, comer una pizza. Aunque el Bitcoin Pizza Day ya pasó, me gustaría compartir con ustedes lo que hice ese día. Si bien no salí a comprar pizzas, sí compré los ingredientes para hacer pizzas en familia, por supuesto, acompañado de Pizzy. Cabe destacar que los ingredientes los compré con cryptomonedas (Hive).
This post is not a recipe as such, but I am going to mention how I made this pizza. It was a normal dough pizza, with flour, salt, yeast and water, nothing else. I made three pizzas, one square and two round ones, since there were quite a few of us who were going to eat.
Esta publicación no es una receta como tal, pero sí que les voy a mencionar cómo hice esta pizza. Fue una pizza de masa normal, con harina, sal, levadura y agua, más nada. Hice tres pizzas, una cuadrada y dos redondas, pues éramos bastantes los que íbamos a comer.
There in the picture you can see the ingredients I put on the pizza, the sauce, mozzarella cheese, ham, tomato, onion, paprika, sweet corn and olives. I even had a few pieces of chorizo.
It is a recipe that has everything, as we like in the family, with different flavors to try.
Allí en la fotografía pueden ver los ingredientes que coloqué sobre la pizza, la salsa, queso mozzarella, jamón, tomate, cebolla, pimentón, maíz dulce y aceitunas. Incluso hasta tenía unos trocitos de chorizo.
Es toda una receta que tiene de todo, como nos gusta en la familia, que tenga diversos sabores para probar.
It didn't even take 20 minutes for the first pizza to come out of the oven, we were all delighted because it looked delicious, even Pizzy was happy, because yes, he had found his pizza.
No tardó ni 20 minutos en salir la primera pizza del horno, todos quedamos encantados pues se veía riquísima, incluso Pizzy estaba contento, pues sí, había encontrado su pizza.
Once it was time to serve, we cut the pizza into squares (the square one) and triangles (the round one). We served enough for everyone, since the idea was to eat pizza and that's what we did, the best part is that we were the ones who made them and they were delicious, to our liking. At least I enjoyed a lot preparing the pizza and I'm sure Pizzy enjoyed it a lot too.
Una vez que llegó la hora de servir, cortamos la pizza en cuadros (la cuadrada) y triángulos (la redonda). Servimos lo suficiente para todos, pues la idea era comer pizza y eso hicimos, lo mejor de todo es que fuimos nosotros quien las hicimos y nos quedaron ricas, a nuestro gusto. Al menos yo disfruté un montón preparando la pizza y estoy seguro de que Pizzy también lo disfrutó mucho.
To close this celebratory dinner, we also prepared a dessert, a marbled cake that we all enjoyed very much. It wasn't too big, but let's agree that the best things come in small portions...
Para cerrar esta cena de celebración, también preparamos un postre, una torta marmoleada que todos disfrutamos mucho. No era demasiado grande, pero convengamos que las mejores cosas vienen en porciones pequeñas...
