¡Saludos gente! El día de hoy solo vengo a torturarlos un poco con unas fotografías de una comida que compartí con mi mamá por su cumpleaños.
Honestamente, la idea no era esta, era comer sushi, ya saben que les he dicho que es nuestra comida favorita, pero en vista a que nos pusimos a caminar por todas las tiendas del Centro Comercial Sambil, se nos hizo tarde y cuando ¡por fin! Íbamos a comer, ya todo estaba casi cerrado.
Al final nos decidimos por KFC, que es uno de los pollos que más le gusta a mi mamá, a mí no tanto la verdad, ya que el gluten por la harina que le ponen al pollo para rebosarlo, siempre me hace mal, pero era su regalo de cumpleaños, me pidió que la acompañara y cedí.
Pedimos 2 combos de hamburguesas dobles y 1 ración de strips de 8 piezas, cada combo de hamburguesas venía con sus papás y una bebida por 5 $ cada uno y los strips 8 $.
Sé que hay mejores hamburguesas en el mercado, de hecho por un mejor precio, pero como les dije, no tenía muchas opciones. Los strips siempre me han gustado porque me encanta la combinación con barbicue, aunque después caen terrible, pero ¡como sea! Es un gusto culposo una vez cada tanto.
Terminó siendo una de esas comidas que disfrutas por el sabor y la compañía, aunque sabes que luego lo lamentaras, pero en las que al final dices ¡Que tanto! ¡Hoy estamos aquí para celebrar!
Por cierto, me agradó esta nueva extensión que tiene KFC en el Sambil, es un área única para clientes, antes solo nos ubicábamos en conjunto con todo el mundo en la feria de comida, la decoración está bonita.
Lo mejor de todo, el sistema ¡por fin! Está automatizado para poder hacer tu pedido directamente a través de una pantalla táctil donde puedes también pagar. Luego solo te avisan por un rastreador para que vayas a buscarlo, mientras esperas cómodamente sentado en una mesa.
Parece una tontería y sé que en muchos lugares del mundo esto es súper común, pero no aquí y ¡créanme que el cambio es monumental! Porque esta es una de las franquicias que más venden en la zona y siempre hay mucha gente esperando hasta 45 minutos para comprar, estando parados en una cola, incomodidad que ahora nos ahorramos con este sistema.
Mi mamá estaba cumpliendo 67 años ayer, y es solo 1 vez en la vida estas ocasiones especiales, así que intenté que la pasara bien el día anterior porque justo en su cumpleaños estaría ocupada en el trabajo y no iba a poder salir con ella.
Fuimos, tomamos café, le compré sus regalos de cumpleaños, una de sus comidas favoritas y paseamos un rato, al final todo salió bien. Por supuesto al día siguiente le cantamos su cumpleaños en compañía de la familia, una vez que llegué de trabajar.
Para finalizar, les dejo una reflexión, que no necesariamente tiene que ver con la comida: no olviden disfrutar con los seres que les dieron la vida cada vez que puedan, con las cosas que a ellos los hacen felices, e intentar siempre ser agradecidos por todo lo que hicieron por ustedes en el pasado. Mis padres a mí me dieron todo, los adoro y por eso lo doy todo por ellos; además sé que no estarán conmigo eternamente, por eso haré siempre lo que esté a mi alcance por cuidarlos y que estén bien mientras Dios me los permita.

Greetings people! Today I'm just here to torture you a little bit with some pictures of a meal I shared with my mom for her birthday.
Honestly, the idea was not this, it was to eat sushi, you know I told you that it is our favorite food, but since we started walking around all the stores in Centro Comercial Sambil, it was getting late and when we were finally going to eat, everything was almost closed.
In the end we decided to go to KFC, which is one of the chickens that my mom likes the most, I don't really like it that much, since the gluten due to the flour they put in the chicken to make it overflow, always makes me sick, but it was her birthday present, she asked me to go with her and I gave in.
We ordered 2 double burger combos and 1 serving of 8 piece strips, each burger combo came with their pops and a drink for $5 each and the strips $8.
I know there are better burgers on the market, in fact for a better price, but as I told you, I didn't have much choice. I've always liked the strips because I love the combination with barbicue, but then they fall off terribly, but whatever! It's a guilty pleasure once in a while.
It ended up being one of those meals that you enjoy for the taste and the company, even though you know you'll regret it later, but in the end you say "What a great meal, we're here to celebrate today!
By the way, I liked this new extension that KFC has in the Sambil, it is a unique area for customers, before we were only located together with everyone in the food fair, the decoration is nice.
Best of all, the system, finally! It's automated so you can place your order directly through a touch screen where you can also pay. Then you are just alerted by a tracker to go get it, while you wait comfortably seated at a table.
It seems silly and I know that in many places in the world this is super common, but not here and believe me the change is monumental! Because this is one of the franchises that sells the most in the area and there are always a lot of people waiting up to 45 minutes to buy, standing in a queue, discomfort that we now save with this system.
My mom was turning 67 yesterday, and it is only once in a lifetime these special occasions, so I tried to have a good time the day before because right on her birthday she would be busy at work and I was not going to be able to go out with her.
We went, had coffee, I bought her birthday presents, one of her favorite foods and we walked around for a while, in the end everything went well. Of course the next day we sang her birthday in the company of the family, once I got home from work.

Hola Amiga, a veces las personas con quien compartimos momentos, bien sea familia o amigos; algunos no les gusta salir en publicaciones subidas a redes sociales (internet) y eso es respetable; a mi me ha pasado con amigos y familia entonces me limito a tomar fotografías de la comida y sitio; mas no fotos con quien estoy; vi tu post y pensé que tu madre, no quiso salir en tu publicación. Amiga noooo, a mi mamá le encanta que le tomen fotografías, yo soy la que aun no se acostumbra a ser blogger 😅, yo le tomé a ella varias fotos en el centro comercial, pero específicamente comiendo el pollo no, es que en realidad ya era tarde y ella tenía hambre, ya no tenía energía para fotos, solo tomé las de los platos rápido y empezamos a comer 😅😅😅.
