Today I Made Chicken Risotto. Here's My Recipe

Hello friends. Today, I'm going to make one of the most delicious dishes of Italian cuisine, risotto. I've been using this recipe for a long time, and all my friends who have tried it loved it. Hopefully, you'll like it too. First of all, I'd like to share the ingredients I use with you.

Ingredients for Risotto:

Mushrooms - 250 grams (I use the mushrooms commonly available in supermarkets, but you can use different mushrooms if you prefer)
Chicken breast - 250 grams
Rice - 1 cup (preferably suitable for risotto)
Chicken broth - 2 cups + 1 cup water
Onion - 1 piece
Parmesan cheese - about 2 tablespoons
150-200 ml dry white wine
Salt and black pepper
Vegetable oil (sunflower or olive oil recommended)

Instructions:

Let's get started. First, let's finely chop the onion and mushrooms.

Then, add vegetable oil and butter to a pan. You can use olive oil or sunflower oil as oil. Then sauté the onions.

A few minutes after adding the onions, let's add the mushrooms to the pan. Add a little more butter. Sauté for 3-5 minutes, then add the rice.

Heat the rice for 2-3 minutes until it becomes slightly translucent, then add white wine to the pot. Don't worry, all the alcohol will evaporate. Be sure to keep stirring constantly to prevent anything from burning.

The next step is very simple, when the liquid evaporates and the pot becomes completely dry, add chicken broth and water.

Once it evaporates again, add water again and continue this process. Our process of adding water will continue until the rice is al dente. Be careful! This part is very important, do not overcook, otherwise everything will turn into a puree.

When it's almost ready, add butter again, I added about 45 grams, and stir. After the butter has melted, use grated parmesan cheese. It can be another type of cheese, but it needs to be firm.

And the main course is ready. Then we'll fry the chicken breast on high heat with salt and pepper. And that's it!
