Well... it is. Hello, fellow pioneers. I'm writing this post as a late announcement to the latest purchase made with Pi. The domain name Pi.app was purchased for the price of 10,000 Pi. What does this mean?
This means that Pi has value!! The first purchase of something valuable has been initiated and completed using Pi alone. There have been many rumors about Pi being worthless and never holding value. Many people asking questions like, "Is this really worth anything to mine Pi?"
Well, for those of you that stuck with it, good job! For those that either haven't started or gave up, it's still not too late! The mining rate of Pi is still fairly good and only the testnet Pilot has been launched. It is not yet able to do KYC for everyone but eventually it will. Currently it is offering the service to a select group of Pioneers through a third party site!

Pi, is the first cryptocurrency that has made mining on a smartphone, possible. It only takes a few seconds a day to start mining and the more people that you have in your mining circle, the more you make. This is incentive to help Pi grow larger.
