HIVE blockchain has been censored?
Not the blockchain some of the people who use it.
Its is done through flags and black lists ! how can you not be aware of how these guys work?
The same people who ran steem now run hive.
Our cognition is a very strange thing. We largely see what we want to see and ignore the rest.
I will grant you that SOME of the obvious suspects are being slightly less aggressive right now. However I have been watching the growing number of accounts that are used only for flagging.

I was talking only about the blockchain, which has not been censored as far as I am aware. If you or anyone wants to create a user interface and website that enables people to use the HIVE blockchain and that ignores all actions of flags and blacklists, you can do so and the posts will be visible. Compare this to corporate social networks and it is obvious that the gap between them in terms of free speech is vast.
Are you aware of such a front end?
I don't have time to keep track of every app that runs on Hive or Steem. I also don't know all the details of the features on the various sites as they stand right now as they change fairly regularly. In my personal use of Hive, I do not find I am unable to view posts that I am pointed towards, since even downvoted posts can still be viewed by people who know they exist. Sites like https://hiveblocks.com/ are meant to be viewers of raw blockchain data.
