Hola hivers como se encuentran mis amigos, por acá yo me encuentro bien gracias al divino, regresando como siempre con nuevas creaciones para ustedes. En el día de hoy, les contaré cómo me fue en estos días de posguardia, martes, miércoles. En los que tuve que ir para mi casa, a cinco kilómetros de la ciudad, para ayudar a mi papá. Había que resanar una columna del frente, que se estaba agrietando por la humedad de agua que se estancaba en la esquina del portal, más la corrosión del tiempo, pues ya son 31 años. Como dato les cuento que aún está parte está sin corriente, pues la brigada que viene arreglando las averías del ciclón, aún no llegan.

Primeramente, nos dimos a la tarea de fabricar un andamio, con unos recortes de madera, necesario para subirse y trabajar en el problema que presentaba la construcción. Al principio, mientras lo preparábamos, le daba chucho al padre mío diciéndole que ni loco me subía en aquella cosa por su temblequeo. Pero al terminar del martillado aquí y por allá, la estructura fue cogiendo forma, quedando bastante segura. Esto fue en la tarde del martes, luego de que llegué del hospital, me bañé, comí algo y para la cama. Tenía un sueño 💤 tremendo, no había tenido muy buena noche, pues las 24 horas fueron intensas. Le avisé a mi mamá para que viniera a quedarse estos días conmigo, así me ayudaba en las cosas de la casa.

El miércoles nos levantamos bien temprano, para tratar de hacerlo todo antes de que el sol empezara a castigar. Bajamos el andamio, lo aseguramos en la acera con una soga contra la reja del portal de los bajos, para que quedara consistente y seguro. Además de todo lo que íbamos a utilizar, cemento, gravilla, agua para hacer la mezcla que necesitamos para echar el salpicado. Buena faena nos esperaba, pero como dicen,"dónde hay hombre no hay fantasma". Íbamos con toda la disposición de solucionar esta tarea.

Pero esto no fue cantar y bailar, primero hubo que dar una buena tanda de cincel y mandarria, para despegar las grietas, aunque algunas se desprendían solas. De más está decir el reguero de escombros, más el polvo que se formó, parecía algo sencillo, pero no fue así. Yo me puse un nasobuco, una gorra, por qué el polvo se hacía sentir así que me me fui protegiendo. El cielo estaba despejado totalmente, mostrando un sol radiante, como de esos días de playa.

Nos pusimos hacer la mezcla, previamente ya habíamos cernido el cemento y la gravilla. Pero aguanta, aún no, primero le dimos un brochazo de agua con cemento a las cabillas que se habían dañado. Ahora sí, mezclamos los ingredientes, el padre mío empezó a tirar el salpicado, has oído la expresión" pareces un pato cagando", pues así tiraba el salpicado el padre mío ja, ja, ja para todo lados.

Sé que estás pensando:" qué par de locos", es verdad hubiera sido más fácil buscar un albañil que lo hiciera todo. Pero en primera, el padre mío, aunque no tenga práctica con la cuchara de albañil 😂, no es un improvisado, este viejo es ingeniero civil ahí donde tú lo ves, esta casa, la diseñó él, se hizo con estructura modelo Sandino. También está el tema de que para pagarle en estos momentos a un albañil, como está la situación económica, tarde se iba a solucionar ese problema, pues estos compañeros cobran más que un médico cirujano por ponerte un ejemplo, aunque en Cuba cualquier negociante de la calle cobra más que un médico, te lo dejo ahí.

El sol ya se estaba haciendo sentir, por eso colocamos una manta rústicamente para protegernos un poco del sol. Yo me encontraba limpiando lo que iba cayendo la suelo en el portal del vecino de los bajos, alcanzando alguna cosa que le hiciera falta a mi papá. Tuvimos que hacer mezcla varias veces, por qué era grandecito el daño. Así nos sorprendió las 12 del mediodía, pero aún no habíamos terminado, por tanto, no paramos hasta que se concluyó el salpicado.

Algo gracioso que aportar, es que por el lado izquierdo del edificio pasa un camino, dónde por ahí frecuentan a la bodega que queda detrás a unos pasos. Las personas muy curiosas preguntaban qué hacíamos, pues su impresión era que estamos pintando, pero como dice el padre mío," al que todo lo quiere saber, mentira con él". Así que les decíamos lo primero que se nos ocurría, un cuento diferente a cada persona para qué fue aquello nos reíamos cantidad.

Mi niño nos saludó al pasar con la madre, venía de la escuela que tiene horario hasta las 12:30 pm. Más meno una hora después fue que terminamos, recogimos todos los cacharros sucios de cemento para limpiar todo. Limpié el piso del portal del vecino, pues habíamos hecho un vertedero allí, al quedar todo recogido fui me bañé para almorzar. Por hoy es todo, como les había dicho, solo dimos el salpicado, para mañana jueves bien temprano dar el repello grueso y el fino. Por hoy es toda familia de amigos, que tengan un bendecido día, recuerda repetir la visita cuando desees, para juntos conversar un rato.

Que tal @nanixxx saludos 👍 , oye si el padre mío fue el que le dió manos a la obra, de enfermería sabré por qué estudié pero de albañilería estoy frito 😂, me tocó ser ayudante tu sabes dame aquello trae para allá y esto otro 🥵. Pero hay que hacer de todo en esta vida,se aprende de todo. Cuídate gracias por comentar ☺️
😂 qué bueno eso de hacerle un cuento distinto a cada curioso... acá en Cuba amigo, somos músicos poetas y locos, mi padre adorado, uff que grande era mi papá, 😌... también agarraba la cuchara de albañil o el martillo, según hiciera falta, a pesar de su título colgado en la pared, sin ningún tapujo. Mi hermano y yo crecimos viéndolo y gracias a sus enseñanzas mi hermanito prácticamente solito se hizo la albañilería de su casa, puso los azulejos del baño, la electricidad y toda la hidráulica, con sus 26 añitos es un hombrecito capaz de asumir ese tipo de retos gracias a la sabiduría y el arrojo que aprendimos de nuestro papá.
Así que al tuyo, un millón de abrazos, y mi completa admiración.

Buenas noches @janetedita que bueno que te gustó la publicación, el trabajo fue intenso más bien por el castigo del sol, pero se pasa bien cuando uno hace un trabajo para la casa. La verdad se aprende mucho de nuestros padres, son un libro de texto de experiencias, gracias por compartir sobre tu papá estoy seguro que fue un Superman de esta vida.

Hermano yo se lo que es eso, yo estoy en construcción con mi suegro y de no saber nada de albañilería ya hice mi cuarto a mi gusto, me falta muchísimo aun pero lo hago yo ,al final pagas caro y hacen mierda y están viendo q se pueden llevar sobre todo el cemento.saludos

Que bonito...(hoy es que tuve tiempo de leerte). Bendiciones a tu papá, se ve fuerte y con mucha vitalidad. Familia cubana cien por cien, resolviendo todo para todos. Mi abuelo, mi tio y mi padrastro hicieron nuestra casa con la ayuda eventual de parientes, vecinos y amigos. Toda una aventura que guardo con amor. Ver a tu niño observando la faena me lo recordó.
