Del 20 al 25 de marzo pude visitar la ciudad de Matanzas. La "Atenas de Cuba" me abrió sus puertas para desde la literatura, llenarme de su azul, de su poesía y de la arquitectura maravillosa que la habita.

¿Qué decir de su gente? Carismáticos y sinceros, llenos de arte y amantes de los libros. Matanzas es una ciudad que enamora, que seduce por su vida y cultura. Da gusto caminar sus calles, algunas estrechas, otras anchas, asfaltadas o con adoquines, la magia es la misma.
En esos días pude compartir mi poesía en la sede de la UNEAC como parte de un evento para agasajar a los poetas en su día, que internacionalmente se celebra el 21 de marzo, "Primavera Poética" fue el espacio justo para compartir como cercanos con grandes exponentes de las letras matanceras. Lo disfruté mucho.
El día 23, justo a las 2:00 pm, la Editorial Aldabón me abrió las puertas para presentar mi libro, mi pequeño Origami y una muestra de ejemplares de varias colecciones de Ediciones Loynaz, otra oportunidad de lujo que supe aprovechar al máximo.

In those days I was able to share my poetry at the headquarters of the UNEAC as part of an event to honor poets on their day, which is celebrated internationally on March 21, "Primavera Poética" was the right space to share as close to great exponents of the letters of Matanzas. I enjoyed it very much.

De Matanzas, les confieso que me seduce el azul, ese mar confluyendo con el río; es una experiencia hermosa, vivificadora. Yo feliz de respirar ese olor inconfundible de salitre y esperanzas.
Su arquitectura es exquisita. Los parques. El paseo de Narvaes. El Teatro Sauto. Los puentes. Cada detalle, cada exposición de arte.
A Pinar del Río regresé con un premio literario. Y lo más importante con muchos libros 😁, joyas de la literatura que voy a atesorar con mucho cariño, regalo de personas que me quieren bien y que desde su hospitalidad me dieron lo mejor de sí.
Agradecida de ese tiempo maravilloso, de la experiencia y de que pueda continuar llevando la literatura de nuestro Vueltabajo a todos los confines de esta Isla hermosa que nos guarda.

I returned to Pinar del Río with a literary award. And most importantly with many books 😁, jewels of literature that I will treasure with great affection, gifts from people who love me well and who gave me the best of themselves with their hospitality.
Grateful for that wonderful time, for the experience and that I can continue taking the literature of our Vueltabajo to all the confines of this beautiful island that keeps us.

Concuerdo con usted que la ciudad de matanzas cautiva con su arquitectura y su calles estrechas , ese mar azul que te hipnotiza y si se acompaña de los eventos literarios para adornar con la poesía por favor hasta yo me embullo y me cuelo ahi .
