I've been thinking about doing this post for days. I thought it would be easy, but the more I thought about it, the harder it became to narrow my list of favorite places down to three.
There are so many places I've been to (and even places I haven't 🤭) that could be on my list. I could even divide them into categories 😆. Anyway....to reach this conclusion, I decided to include only the places that I missed the most during the Covid 19 pandemic confinement and that were also the first ones we visited as soon as we could.
The order in which they appear is not by preference, it is just to present them to you. The three have my predilection equally as they respond to very dissimilar interests and ways of enjoyment.
The place where I grew up is one of them, especially my grandparents' house, which is now my mother's house. It is a beautiful place between mountains, surrounded by nature and people that I have known since I can remember and that in one way or another have been part of my life. It is a place I love and I need to return to whenever I can.
In Cuba there are many places like no other, especially paradisiacal beaches, but Varadero has something inexplicable. It is one of those places that I never get bored. Each visit leaves deep emotions, a mixture of longing and enjoyment, it has a special meaning for me. Many laughs shared with so many friends, family, unforgettable moments that I have lived there and that I relive every time I return to it.
Last but not least, the Yellow Submarine. This nightclub located in Havana's Vedado district is my favorite place to dance. Even here the fun and laughter shared with so many dear people were never lacking. Dancing and good music is a divine way to de-stress and here, both are guaranteed. From the moment we arrive, until it ends, it is non-stop. It seems like we will never come back or that it will close forever, because we don't waste a minute. Maybe because we don't go very often, we want to make the most of every second.

Hace días que estoy por hacer esta publicación. Pensé que sería fácil, pero cuanto más pensaba, más difícil se me hacía reducir mi lista de lugares preferidos a tres.
Hay muchos lugares a los que he ido (y hasta a los que no 🤭) que pudieran estar en mi lista. Podría includo dividirlos por categorías 😆. En fin...para llegar a esta conclusión, decidí incluir solo los lugares que más extrañé durante el confinamieto por la pandemia de Covid 19 y que además fueron los primeros que visitamos en cuanto pudimos.
El orden por el que aparecen no es por la preferencia, es solo para presentarlos a ustedes. Los tres tienen mi predilección por igual ya que responden a intereses y maneras de disfrute muy disímiles.
El lugar donde crecí es uno de ellos, especialmente la casa de mis abuelos que es hoy la de mi madre. Es un lugar hermoso entre montañas, rodeado de naturaleza y personas que conozco desde que tengo memoria y que de una forma u otra han sido parte de mi vida. Es un lugar que adoro y al que necesito regresar cada vez que puedo.
En Cuba hay muchísimos lugares sin igual, sobre todo playas paradisíacas, pero Varadero tiene algo inexplicable. Es de esos lugares que no aburro. Cada visita deja emociones profundas, mezcla de añoranza y disfrute, tiene un significado especial para mí. Muchas risas compartidas con tantos amigos, familia, momentos inolvidables que he vivido allí y que revivo cada vez que regreso a él.
Por último y para nada menos importante, el Submarino Amarillo. Este centro nocturno enclavado en el vedado habanero es mi lugar preferido para bailar. Igual aquí la diversión y las risas compartidas con tanta gente querida nunca faltaron. El baile y la buena música es una divina manera de desestresarse y aquí, ambas están aseguradas. Desde que llegamos hasta que se acaba es sin parar. Tal parece que nunca volveremos o que cerrará para siempre, porque no desperdiciamos ni un minuto. Quizás es por que no vamos muy a menudo y queremos aprovechar al máximo cada segundo.

Choosing our favourite places are always very difficult and I like the angle you have taken here. These places must mean a lot to you and I'm sure they would have represented the restart of life again post Covid (it seems such a long time ago now, but a memory that will not easily be forgotten by many)
Making a selection of favorites is complicated. Sometimes there is a lot to choose from and leaving only 3 is a hard task. But sometimes the choices...don't even reach that number 🤣.
The Pandemic changed the recent history of mankind. In some way or another every single person was marked by that event. We have to leave it behind and go on living, but it will hardly be forgotten. Have a nice weekend 🤗.
It is never easy to choose just three, and if we talk about our favourite places, then it is even more difficult. Although Varadero is probably the most famous place everyone heard of the place where you grew up is fantastic! Love those hills and all the greenery!!! 💚
The place where I grew up is beautiful really, it hasn't changed for as long as I can remember. That may be bad for many, because the place has not developed and every day it deteriorates more and more. But every time I go back it's like traveling back in time and that has its charm, although it doesn't stop saddening the fact that it is being destroyed little by little... unfortunately.
Varadero is...Varadero (all said) 🤣.
