@shiftrox @gtg we should think about a #grove-campfire channel on openhive.chat that potentially could have either optional offchain chats, or other randomized sprouts/forms of async game interactions that would still be locked to a key verified identity and redeemed in game on-chain @forkyishere
I think any kind of partnership and communication is very welcome! I’m just a little out of the loop—what exactly is openhive.chat? Is it like Discord? I’m really sorry—I think I’ve seen it or heard of it, but I ended up not using it very often (or maybe I’ve never used it at all—I don’t remember). 😅
it's like the old steem.chat,run by the same 🧙. it is a self hosted rocketchat instance that allows you to log in with your hive account so your offchain messages there are key verified to your actual hive account. No impostors!
a great async alternative for a hive based set of forums/chatroom that don't necessarily store to the chain, but that use our features in ways discord and other things never will

Can someone tell me how the drone works? I thought I had it set only to find my tree not watered..I watered it.
Yes, same question here. I bought a drone yesterday and woke up my trees waiting to be watered.

Thanks for the report! I checked your account and the drone was bought, but it was never equipped on a tree. Buying it only adds the charge to your inventory, and it only works on trees you arm it on. Your charge is still there, nothing was lost.
How to use it: water the tree first, then, while it's on cooldown, tap the drone icon on that tree to arm it. From then on the drone waters it automatically a few minutes after it's ready, even while you're offline. We also added a hint after buying a drone so this is clearer.

You need to wait for it to water, takes a few minutes. Its not instantaneous

Yeap, to give people a chance to "if you were there, you can still save it"
When the timer runs out,the drone will water the tree for you.it will not just water the tree after a few minutes of setting it up to a tree
Thanks for reporting this, you found a real bug! When two of your trees with the same reward became ready at the same moment, the drone paid the first one, but the second payment got rejected by the blockchain as a "duplicate". That tree then stayed waiting until you watered it yourself. You didn't lose anything: you got paid when you watered it, and no drone charge was used on it.
It's fixed and goes live with the next update. Also, from now on, while a drone is armed it's the only one that waters that tree. It runs every few minutes, so the tree may show as ready for a short while before the drone gets to it. If you'd rather water by hand, just unequip the drone.

The game is very simple, buy bee to get honey, and then you stake the honey on the honey pot to get some HIVE.
Later in the game, you can buy sloths to get SHARDS, and then attack other players to steal HONEY or attack the boss to get HIVE.
Top 10 will get massive amounts of HIVE.
@crimsonclad we should replace discord meetings with something like this 😀

I bought a bee, and then they asked for 1 Hive for a round—I didn't really get it, haha—but I gave 2 Hive in total.
To enter the round (7 days) you pay 1 HIVE to start playing the game. Then the game "currency" is HONEY, that you gain from BEEs, you can purchase more BEEs with more HONEY.
You also have a FREE claim of HONEY every 8 hours I believe... so claim it, and then spend it on the biggest bee you can buy.

What you must have done was buy a boost which generates more 10% HONEY for the HONEY production you have.

I am pretty sure adapting some frontend to feel like discord and work like this, is not very complex. Maybe this will just grow into something like that. It's already halfway there, in my view.
This, and perhaps what @meno and the @mantequilla-soft team did for OpenPods on @snapie, that might be the needed complement for those kind of meetings here.

Noob question: can anyone explain me the rational of buying a drone on a day that you are active? Numberswise cost/benefit doesn’t seem logical to me (but might be missing something?)

I'm trying to get leaderboard points for using drones
But that is an achievement, not a mission. @shiftrox , can uou confirm that achievements are different from leaderboard missions (and only missions count?)
It's below the ranking. Small print or you can scroll down to see missions too I think. It's right above your points earned.
There's daily and weekly missions, community missions etc. be sure and look across there's missions for the radio and campfire🤗
