The reason you didn't need much RC with SM, is because your account is not actually broadcasting when playing inside SM. The only times you are, is when you are moving funds in/out of SM, because they go from layer 2 (game account) into layer 2 (Your Hive account) on Hive-Engine. Or if involving HIVE or HBD, to layer 1.

You can always ask if you have questions about how things work. There is always people around to help eventually, otherwise people refer to whom they know it might know.

Agree 💯. Hive community is very helpful when it comes to answering questions from other users that needs help when it comes to information.

@yabz ☝️ back in the day almost done every new Hive user are posting intro of themselves. It's a great way to get acquainted to the community 😁

This self-introduction works if you wishes to do some blogging or want to get seriously or oartly involve in a community.but if you only want to play then what is the introduction for?i did it when im into playing spl and posting about my games in peakd.but to create a hive account for the sole purpose of playing and make self-introductions?i dont think its not much of a necessity

You have very good points there.

My case is different, I'm actively blogging and gaming and so I naturally think that doing intro post is a good thing to do.

Yes,it is a requirement and a must if you want the community you're joining to get to know you.

i never introduced myself but at the end people tend to know me anyways 🤣

This is valid also. Eventually your behavior in the platform will become your identity.

Such a great point. Reputation is built organically day by day. Whether someone starts with a big intro or just quietly dives into discussions, their genuine track record eventually becomes their biggest asset on the platform. 🙏

Yes that is right because reputation goes a long way. In my case I started as an anonymous user and until now I am still around the news and yet somehow I was able to gain the trust of many users here in the platform. I'm sure you will be able to achieve it as well so keep it up.

Everything on blockchain is a chain of information, the more people stay at it, the more information becomes available, and sometimes you don't even need to know who is who, because you can relate to events that have meaningful value to you. And that becomes the "character" each one is.

Agree 💯

Completely agree! It’s the perfect icebreaker. Honestly, we should keep encouraging every new user to drop a #introduceyourself post so the community can give them a proper warm welcome! 👋❤️

That's a good word - encourage. It should not be forced because it still depends on the preference of the person.

Very true. Everyone has a different comfort level when joining a new space. Just keeping the door open and making them feel welcome whenever they are ready to share is what makes a community great. ❤️

Then maybe put it somewhere in the mission or anywhere.a kyc link or space or something where players that want to get verified can do so...if they wanted to get verified.or up to devs if they wanted to make it mandatory

There is no such thing as verification or KYC on Hive... anyone can verify anything on Hive, because its all public. Including these comments.

I dont know much..its why i say a kyc link or space or something where a player that want to get verified can do so..notice the "want to get verified".i am not sure either..i am just a player playing and i dont know much about hive as well.

yep, all good, I was just explaining what I know anyhow, not trying to counter-argue... just teaching, if I can.

Hive itself doesn't require KYC but of course app devs or games like this may implement it if they want to. However, many Hive users won't like it.

I doubt... it's not the Hive way to do KYC... because we value privacy.

Agree 💯
