Then maybe put it somewhere in the mission or anywhere.a kyc link or space or something where players that want to get verified can do so...if they wanted to get verified.or up to devs if they wanted to make it mandatory

There is no such thing as verification or KYC on Hive... anyone can verify anything on Hive, because its all public. Including these comments.
I dont know much..its why i say a kyc link or space or something where a player that want to get verified can do so..notice the "want to get verified".i am not sure either..i am just a player playing and i dont know much about hive as well.
yep, all good, I was just explaining what I know anyhow, not trying to counter-argue... just teaching, if I can.
The issue i see is we are speculating whether a player is real or not.say a new account is introduced to hive.how then are we going to know for sure that he isnt a person doing multiple accounting?if all we can see in the transaction history is hive transfers from someone who introduced hive to him?
Its very hard to know that for sure... and yes, that can be a problem for some things... but that's why there is curation on Hive. Accounts that are not trusted, don't get as many upvotes, and the ones that have good stake and are doing what the community wants or other stakholders value, get more upvotes for their content.
Its very simple. And therefore why creating a reputation on Hive is so valuable.
Keeping on doing deceptions has no long term value. So that for itself, will die over time
Agree.creating a reputation on hive is hard...but that reputation only has meaning if you wamt to get curated for your posts or something.what if the person just wants to play? Example,a new account is created on hive.how are we going to know for sure that it isnt another person doing multi-account?if he is new and the transactions we can see are only few transfers of hive to this new account from the one that invited him?
There is always value from reputation even if you don't post... but I can't really explain that to you, unless I dump hours of experience... but you are free to have your own opinion.
Someday reputation will have real value and although it's just my own opinion I think there is a possibility that it will have a good purpose in the future and that is why I am trying to build it as early as I started in the platform.
But of course it still depends on one's preference.
Very good points. I have no issue telling everyone I'm from Singapore because I'm sharing my life here in the city through my blogs. However I still maintain my privacy or my identity not broadcasting to everyone. 😁
Yes we can select to show what we want and hide what we want.no ome can force us.but the issue at hand is the speculation of whether an account here is real or not.im not against multi-accounting if it helps the project grow.but whether im against or not does not matter since im just another player🤣.
Personally, no way to tell whether the user is real or not since intro posts shows photos or videos that will show the validity of the information they are saying in the introduction post.
The only way is to meet IRL and verify
True. Some Hive users are doing in through Hive Meet ups
Hive itself doesn't require KYC but of course app devs or games like this may implement it if they want to. However, many Hive users won't like it.
I doubt... it's not the Hive way to do KYC... because we value privacy.
Agree 💯
