프랑스 법원, 비트코인을 화폐로 인정한 사례

프랑스 낭테르의 프랑스 상사 법원은 암호화폐 관련 재판에서 비트코인(BTC)을 화폐라는 자산으로 인정한 사실이 최근 공개됐습니다.

법원은 지난 2월 말 법정화폐 관련 한 재판에서 "비트코인(BTC)은 일종의 '대체 가능한 무형자산(fungible intangible asset)'으로, 법정화폐와 유사하다"고 언급했습니다.

로펌 Kramer＆Levin의 Hubert de Vauplane 변호사는 이는 화폐로서 BTC 합법적 지위를 인정한 사례로, 프랑스 BTC 거래 및 암호화폐 시장 유동성에 좋게 작용할 것이라고 말했습니다.
