Hello Everyone
In my yard I have cultivated plants. In addition to making a clean environment can also make beauty. I sometimes spend a lot of time caring for some flower plants such as watering and giving fertilizer to keep the plants well. It turns out that this plant invites a lot of insects that come to suck flower pollen.
So many insects that perch that sometimes make the plants part of the leaves dry . One of the most common insects found are butterflies and spiders. As in this post is a type of spider lynx. These spiders have long, thorny legs and in general these insects are predators of other insects.
This spider does not make a web as a nest like spiders in general make a web as a nest. For these spiders usually catch prey by jumping long distances. In the plantation area is a good place for spiders to breed because there is sufficient food available. To get this spider we have to sit patiently because the spider is wild. Likewise to shoot with the camera requires the right time.
Distribution
A total of 18 lynx spider species (family Oxyopidae) can be found in North America, including two species in the genus Oxyopes. The striped lynx spider is native to North America and is very common in the east and on the Pacific coast from Oregon south, but it is not found in the Rocky Mountains, the Great Basin, or the Midwest. source:entnemdept.ufl.edu
