As a nature photographer my eyes are a-tuned to find beauties around us. Some call them creepy crawlies, some gets uneasy with them and some take extreme steps to stomp on them or kill them without thoughts. For me they are the masterpieces of nature.
I would like to share one such observation with you all.
Have you ever noticed insects flying around street lamps at night after monsoon rains? It is a sight to enjoy, for an untrained eye it will be just insects dancing around lights at night, but for me it was much much more, so i took out my camera at 2AM at night and started clicking long exposure shots with my DSLR.
Here are those clicks:
The beautiful patterns these amazing creatures make as they dance around the street lamp is truly a beautiful sight to behold. There is a chaos in this but that chaos has a path and that is the reason we see such amazing patters of fluttering insects. In this there were some Termites and some Moths.
All these images were shot at a Shutter speed of 20 Seconds so that i get to capture as much flight as i could during the process. To capture the details i kept the Aperture at f/11.
Gear used for these images were
Canon 90D
Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens
Vanguard Tripod
Images like these makes us fall in love with the nature we have around us.
