I saw mantises in my garden when I lived in Argentina, but I had never seen one so big and so calm, so much so that it was very comfortable in your hand. I think it knew you saved it, judging by the spider web on its legs, and you were also very kind to it by taking it to a safe place. It must have sensed that.

It's beautiful, and they're very elegant insects, so to speak. They quickly blend into their surroundings and look for food. I've always liked seeing them; I find them very cute. It trusted you, and that was important. Thank you for saving it. The photographs are beautiful!

Were the mantids in Argentina a different color? I used to see sand colored ones in Arizona that were super small and bitey.

They're green too, but not as big! That one is beautiful!
