Butterflies are flying gems of nature. Sometimes everyone wants to take pictures of them. It's way more civilized than catching and pinning them.
Another large day butterfly that is very photogenic is the Scarce swal-lowtail (Iphiclides podalirius). The butterfly can be found on warm sunny tophills. Go hunting for them from April to June and from July to September. In the Czech Republic, you will almost certainly find him at Házmburk Castle in Bohemian Central Mountains. It's a nice tip for a trip, even if you can't catch any butterflies there.
The long focal length lens lets you shoot butterflies from a greater dis-tance. Use manual mode. Choose a low aperture value. Adjust the shutter speed as needed. Note the very short shutter speed for the illustration photo. It is clear that the picture was taken in very good lighting conditions in direct sunlight.
Motýli jsou létající drahokamy přírody. Fotografovat je občas zatouží každý. Je to civilizovanější zábava, než je chytat a napichovat na špendlíky.
Dalším velkým denním motýlem, který se dobře fotí, je Otakárek ovocný (Iphiclides podalirius). Motýla najdete na teplých prosluněných vyvýšeninách. Na lov se vydejte od dubna do června a od července do září. V Čechách ho téměř jistě zastihnete na hradu Házmburk v Českém středohoří. Je to hezký tip na výlet, i když tam žádné motýly nezastihnete.
Objektiv s velkou ohniskovou vzdáleností vám umožní fotografování motýlů z větší dálky. Při fotografování používejte manuální režim. Volte nízké clonové číslo. Čas uzávěrky nastavte podle potřeby. Všimněte si velmi krátkého času uzávěrky u ilustrační fotografie. Je z něj jasné, že obrázek byl pořízen za velmi dobrých světelných podmínek na přímém slunečním světle.

The tower got its name from the light sandstone used for the construction. As you can see, it turned a black over time.

Já fotím 90% fotek na automatiku s prioritou clony.
Není ostuda nastavit dva z parametrů svaté trojice (iso - clona - čas) a ten třetí si nechat spočítat automatem :)
Když o tom přemýšlím, tak to vlastně nechávám dopočítat automat podle priority clony také 🙂.
Většinou totiž nastavuji ISO a clonu. A čas jsem se naučil korigovat manuálně ovladačem, který má Canon hned vedle spouště. Ale řídím se v podstatě tím, co mi automat ukazuje na displeji hledáčku.
