Sunira circellaris (Hufnagel, 1766)
Die rötlichgelbe Herbsteule ist ein Nachtfalter aus der Familie der Eulenfalter. Der Falter fliegt von Ende August bis in den November. Ihr Lebensraum bilden unterschiedliche Habitate wie Waldränder, Parks aber auch Stadtgebiete. Das Weibchen legt seine Eier an Weiden. Das Ei überwintert und die Raupe schlüpft im Frühling. Sie ernährt sich von den Blättern und verpuppt sich im Erdreich. Der Falter ist noch zahlreich zu beobachten und gilt als nicht gefährdet.
The Brick is a moth from the family Noctuidae. The moth flies from the end of August to November. Its habitat consists of different habitats such as forest edges, parks, but also urban areas are welcome. The female lays her eggs on willows. The eggs overwinter and the caterpillar hatches in spring. It feeds on the leaves and pupates in the soil. The moth can still be observed in large numbers and is not considered endangered.

Entdeckt habe ich den Falter im Buchenwald auf einem Farn am Wegrand. Am Tag verspürt der nachtaktive Falter wenig Lust zum Fliegen. Für mich war es eine perfekte Einladung, um ihn zu fotografieren.
I discovered the moth in a beech forest on a fern by the wayside. During the day, the nocturnal moth feels little desire to fly. For me it was a perfect invitation to photograph him.

It is beautiful the way is not found the moth, the dry and golden leaves match with the insect.
The autumn colours are certainly a good camouflage. The fern offers a good contrast, so I was able to spot the little butterfly with a trained eye.
The moth is loking very beautiful and i find more interest into photo of forest, all over the dry leaves are speading, a light and shadow with some foggy makes it remarkable.
Right now, in autumn, I am mostly out and about in the forest. For me it is the most beautiful season to take pictures in the forest.
Fliegt der Falter denn dann Nachts?
Ist das nicht recht ungewöhnlich für Falter?

Der Falter fliegt ausschließlich nachts. Am Tag sitzt er meistens auf Blättern oder an einem Baum. So verhalten sich die meisten Nachtfalter!
