The spider is a book-book animal with two body segments, four pairs of legs, without wings and without a chewing mouth.

Spiders are also predatory animals, their main prey is insects. The spider is also able to inject through a pair of fangs into enemies or prey.

Not all spiders make webs to catch prey, but are capable of producing silk threads from glands located on the back of their bodies. This silk fiber really helps the movement of the spider to swing from one place to another, trapping prey, making egg sacs, protecting nest holes and so on.
