Sharing an old drawing from 2017

It's a pencil drawing I did of an idea of a friend.

It's pretty crazy how his idea goes. Praying mantis are amazing creatures and they come in many colors and varieties. I would say they are one of the most interesting creatures on land.

Lightly draw and shade the colors

Here I draw the lava

Then I darken details and I drew the sky

And then gems on its feet

Final output

My favorite part about this is how I made the gems and reflections. I still have this artwork with me.

I got videos but they are super blurred sorry

At least you get to see how I rendered the pencils
