Good afternoon, friends!
Here is my entry for the PhotoChain Challenge - 73th Edition hosted by @davidesimoncini. The keywords for this week are Colorful and Flower, picked by the previous winners of the challenge: @melinda010100 and @elizacheng.
(My personal keyword is... Insect.)
I rarely take photos like these but when I saw this big carpenter bee landing on a flower nearby, I took my camera out and zoomed in on the guy, as he was gathering his afternoon snack. 🍯
This first photo came out really well. I took another shot, but the bee isn't so visible on this one. Still, it's a nice photo, so here it is:
These huge bees look scary but they will not bother you at all, unless you panic or try to attack them. So, just relax and the carpenter bee will simply go on with his life.
I hope you enjoyed these photos. 😎

It looks fresh and sweet 😅👌👌👌😋
Yeah, but beware of the bee. She won't like it if you disturb her peace! 😁
True :))
Wow, the picture is stunning!!
Thank you very much!

Amazing photograph you have taken, as always thanks a lot for sharing 🙏😬😀
Excuse my ignorance, I did not know that the carpenter bee existed, although I know that there are many classifications of these ... What I can say is that this flower looks very beautiful, I really liked its colors, it is full of life, greetings. 🌷
I'm sure you have seen them around, they might have a very different name in your language. In Portuguese we call it "Abelhão", which translates to "Huge Bee" or something like that. Carpenter Bee is "Abelha Carpinteira" and no one calls it that way! Ah ah! 🤭
These are huge bees, about 3 or 4 times the size of a regular bee... and they make a very loud buzzing sound when they are flying.
Thanks for your visit and comment.

trincowski, ow, where are you? You've stopped coming here altogether. Are you all right?
Yeah, I'm fine!
I've been less active but I'm still around. I have been taking the time to watch some interesting podcasts and when the day ends, I didn't got to publish anything on Hive. 🤭
Okey, I got it 😂
