Jupiler League Week 21 Tuesday Previews

These are previews from matches involving Belgian Teams with all the latest on team news, player form, injuries along with my personal betting angles, ...

A full schedule of mind-week matches and many of them will be played at the same time. Luck hasn't been on my side lately but I'm anticipating for this to turn around at some point and I keep grinding out the bets. 3 Matches tonight...

OH Leuven vs Eupen

OHL despite being without Maertens who also will be missing today managed to win away against Westerlo. It was a match of 2 halves where they were better in the 2nd half. They are in a safe zone in the standings and can look up with an eye on a playoff 2 spot. Eupen overall on the season has been a team to fade going 6.5W-13L-0.5P against the Asian handicap but the times when they do cover, they tend to take outright wins. It makes sense for OHL to be the -1 handicap big favorite but it's in no way something that I consider taking. They have 60.7% of their goals at home in the first half 1.89 on average while Eupen away on average has 1.90 goals. combined they have yet a 1st half to end at 0-0 which is something I'm keeping in mind going into this match. OHL also is not a good 1st half home team being 2nd last with 2W-2D-5L. Eupen isn't anything spectacular on the road with 1W-5D-5L. No Pre-Game Bets

Westerlo vs Racing Genk

Westerlo is the best 1st half home team in the league now with 8W-2D-1L with the loss coming against a counter team (stvv). They once again played a solid 1st half against OHL but got outplayed in the 2nd half. Genk who had many missings took a narrow 1-0 home win against Zulte-Waregem who also got their chances to score. Their narrative is that they play forward trusting their ability to score goals and taking the fact that they also concede goals because of this. Westerlo especially at home is also willing to play forward so in theory this should become a fun match to watch. In some of the previous matches, both crawled back when being in the lead. Genk in their last 4 away matches also each time went to at least 11 corners. I went for the following bets spreading things around and anticipating an attractive match. 0.3 units on Over 2.75 @ 1.935, 0.1 unit on Genk To Win & Both To Score @ 3.836, 0.2 units on Over 10 corners @ 1.900 all with an eye to possibly take more in-game.

Standard vs Mechelen

Both these teams are in rather bad form right now lacking some quality. Standard played a poor match where it was a small miracle for there to be 2 goals in the 1st half in a match with in total 3 shots on target. Mechelen took a rather lucky win at home despite playing a good 1st half where it was a miracle for there to be no goal the first 39 minutes before the deserved 1-0 came. In the 2nd half Oostende was better and made the 1-1 in what afterwards was a coinflip match that was won by Mechelen. They have a trend of playing much better matches at home. Today likely will be a match with good intentions but also very likely a lack of quality in front of goal which will make it so that luck might be needed to score goals like deflected balls or penalties. Based on the quality and the form of the teams howevern I have to side with the under in this match and took 0.2 units on Under 2.75 @ 1.910 and also 0.1 unit on 1H under 1.25 @ 1.710 and 0.092 units on 1st Half Under 1 @ 2.178

Looks like you made a decent profit on the Genk game.
To bad that Standard scored the opening goal in the injury time of the first half!
