This is all about the money. There is only so much money in football and fans will struggle to add more matches to their schedule. I know a few years ago you needed a good $300 p/m just to go to home matches and that would have increased by now. Football fans are not wealthy and you can only milk them so much.

I agree with your assertion, no one gives a dam about the football fans, they just care about milking them through tickets to matches
It is the same with American sports. The prices keep going up to attend sporting events (even more so now with limited seating due to COVID). This in spite of the broadcasting rights constantly going up.
This is a sad state of affairs across the world. Sports are big business, the fans just customers. I am sure it was always that way but it is now taken to the nth degree.

Yea and its one of the biggest issues. But I think there is probably a bigger issue with the SPORTS community going woke. On top of raising prices, you have to sit through a bunch of opinions that you might not agree with.

Yes the customers also have limitations. If they raise prices, then the fans can only take so much before they stop going. Its the same thing going on with streaming services. They are increasing the costs of subscriptions to make up for the lost fans.
