Hello friends of the sportstalk community I hope you are well, a few days before the end of the season for most European Leagues we can say that the summer is approaching and with it one of the most anticipated dramas for football fans, the opening of the transfer market, so I wanted to share with you some of the transfers that are speculated to take place in the coming summer, as in any transfer market there are many rumors and speculation so I will only mention those that in my opinion are more interesting and possible to happen.

Kylian Mbappe.

The 23-year-old French striker is perhaps the most heard rumor by everyone, the PSG player has a contract until the end of this season and has not yet decided his future, it is not known what will happen with the French national team player although from Madrid are convinced that Mbappe will be a Merengue player next season, the player has been seen in recent days in Madrid reason why the fans are very hopeful that the Frenchman will sign for Real Madrid. There are still a couple of weeks to go until the end of the season and the player has a contract until June 30 so we will soon know Kylian's decision whether to continue in Paris or join Madrid.

Frenkie De Jong.

The Dutch midfielder former Ajax player has been linked with a possible departure from his current club FC Barcelona, the new Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag has made Frenkie his main target for this transfer market, both could meet again after coinciding at Ajax until the departure of De Jong to Barcelona. Xavi expressed his desire to keep the player but everything is subject to the financial situation of the Club which as everyone knows is not good at the moment so there is a big possibility that we will see the Dutchman dressed in the Red Devil next season, the offer according to around 60 million euros so we'll see.

Ivan Perisic.

Chelsea have shown interest in the 33 year old Croatian striker, Perisic has been a very consistent player in recent years having outstanding performances with Croatia and also at club level where for example he was a key player for Bayern in the 2020 season champion, he was also the main responsible for the victory of his team in the final of the Coppa Italia, the most recent title won by Inter. The transfer seems quite possible as it would come at zero cost which is very good for Chelsea who currently is not going through its best financial moment. The Croatian has proven to be a very regular player who constantly delivers performances of very good level, he has recently expressed disappointment with the Inter board for not having solved the situation of his renewal so there is a great possibility that the player will change of scenery. We will see if it ends up happening.

Robert Lewandowski.

The 33-year-old Polish striker is not comfortable at the German club and has allegedly asked to leave the club as he does not intend to renew his contract, the player has a contract until 2023, so if Bayern wants to receive any financial benefit from Robert's departure from the club, they will have to sell him in this transfer window. Julian Nagelsmann in an interview stated that he will not block a possible exit of the Polish player. The club would have estimated a price around 40 million Euros to let the player go, the supposed suitor of Lewandowski would be Barcelona after Joan Laporta announced that it is a quite possible transaction, also Barcelona is a team that is in a very particular economic situation so could we see an exit of Frenkie and the arrival of Robert next season?

Phillippe Coutinho.

The 29 year old Brazilian player is not a rumored transfer, it is a confirmed transfer, Aston Villa would have paid around 20 million euros for the player's services. Although it is not a rumor but a confirmed transfer, I thought it was interesting to mention it as it could easily be the worst transaction in history. Barcelona bought the player for a figure around 140 million euros plus an astronomical salary for the Brazilian player who leaves 4 years later for a figure of 20 million euros, which means a loss of more than 120 million euros in the transaction, with this it is quite easy to understand why Barcelona is in an economic crisis.

Paul Pogba.

The 29-year-old French midfielder arrived at Manchester United in 2016 being the most expensive signing in history costing around 105 million euros, Pogba has confirmed that he will leave Old Trafford for free at the end of this season, there are 2 main contenders in the race to sign Pogba, Juventus would be interested in a return of the Frenchman for which they would have offered a figure around 9 million euros in salary, the other in the race for the Frenchman would be PSG who would seek the services of Paul in their mission to conquer the Champions League.

Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling.

Both players have seen their stay at the club affected with the arrival of Erling Haaland, the Englishman has a contract until 2023 so by not renewing his contract he is with one foot out of the institution, the player has stated that he is in no hurry to leave the club and that he will wait until the end of the season to decide his future, either within the club or outside it. The decision seems to be in Guardiola's hands and everything indicates that the club will seek the exit of the player in this market, Arsenal is the main interested in the services of Raheem, on the other hand the Brazilian would seek more prominence so he probably should leave the club to get it, Arsenal and more recently Atletico Madrid have been interested in Gabriel Jesus, certainly the player is very versatile and still has space at the club and his situation is not as delicate as that of Sterling so we could see him one more year with City, we will see what happens.

That's all for this opportunity folks I hope you liked it, let me know in the comments if you know of any other interesting rumors and which move you think is most likely to happen.

Sort:

I hope De Jong does not leave this summer, I know Barca is still in a financial crisis but it won't be a good idea to let the Dutchman go. De Jong also as expressed himself to be a Barcelona player and does not see himself leaving, keeping my fingers crossed.

I would like him to stay, although I must admit that it sounds interesting to see him reunited with Ten Hag. Barcelona's financial problems are serious, plus the Spanish club has expressed a desire to sign Lewandowski, so it seems that his departure is quite feasible, so we'll see.

If Lewandowski comes to Barca, he will score many goals, but they will lose a world star called Fati. He may be good, but Fati will never be the rising star.

Fati is a very good player but I don't think lewandowski will take his place, I can imagine a scheme where both players can coexist, but we will have to wait and see what happens.

Wow Pogba is still only 29. He needs to deliver what his career once promised. I'd love to see him at an average EPL club.

Lewa I can't wait to see if he can still deliver at 33 years of age +

Mbappe is at an age that he should really test out playing for Real Madrid. One step better, imagine him in the Premier League!!

Pogba has yet to prove that he is worth the price of his fee plus the salary he earns, we will see him in another league next season.
Lewandowski would be very interesting to see him change of scenery, if he definitely goes to Barcelona I would like to see how he adapts to a new league and if he manages to impose conditions as he did in Germany, we will see because he is already 33 years old.
Mbappe in my opinion should look for a new challenge, staying at PSG for me would not be the right thing to do, he should go to a better more competitive league, to see him in the Premier would be a dream but he will probably go to spain
