Yes you can use twitter photos if they are not Getty images. Not every image is and you have to double check. This photo of Giroud is listed under Reuters and Getty so it is a confusing one.

If you aren't sure right click and check google. When it comes up on google click the photo again and it will bring up the thumbnails where that photo has been used and Getty should be one of them if it is theirs.
