My Mechanic Experience (Good And Bad)

Mechanic work Experience..png

Hello, lovely people of this community. It’s a great pleasure to participate in this contest. A motorbike is something not everyone has but I’m one of the luckiest to own one. For this contest, I will be sharing with you my experiences in terms of good and bad when I visited my repair man to service my motor.

I am a student who owns a motorbike. It's an old one as we all know how old things behave. A day might come when it will just stop and refuse to function. I handle it with care though. It’s the best I can afford and sometimes these days the economy in Ghana has become tight, we have to manage the old things we have to make it out of this economic crisis alive. Three days ago, was when I visited my fitter and I will share with you the good and bad experiences.

He received me with care and love. I have been away for school and we have missed each other. It was a day of reunion between my fitter and me and my motorbike and his tools. Funny right? Ha-ha. The love we shared made me see the fun between a customer and someone who render services. Not only that I stayed with him as he took me through how he will repair the motor and the cost involved. I think that as the point we were moving to the bad experience part. But before that, the whole journey of how he took himself to repair and bring my old motorbike back to life was fun. I enjoyed the whole process and I can say he is good and great at his job. That was a great and lovely experience today.

When he was working on it

As we all know the good side comes with its bad sides. The good was good and I enjoyed it but I count say as well I noted the bad side. The conversation n and the whole repair process were fun until he was done. He gave me the total breakdown of the repairs and I carried it was is much that I didn’t even know what to say. Imagine servicing a motorbike for about GH 500 (80 HIVE) How will it be? I was worried because I and no such money. I told him to reduce the price and that was when my fitter lost it. not that he wants right, he was but he made me lose it on him too. I had to be quiet because I needed him to calm down and make the price well for me. it was a bitter experience too till he was able to bring it down to GH 400 (64) in these hard economic times in Ghana. I had no funds and I had to make a borrow because I needed my motorbike home. This was as miserable as I could ever feel. It was so bad that wasn’t happy when I left his place. But as he is my repairman, I will always find my way back.

That is my experience. Money can break two people. But in the end, I understood that he was right because he did so great in repairing my motorbike. Both experiences were great and I will know next time when I’m visiting him.

This is my entry for the contest and I hope you find it great to read through. Thank you.

Amazing entry, to manage old thing is not easy and I can see the good relationship you have with your bike repair man. It is really good and with this you will have trust for him

Yhyh.

Thanks very much for passing through 😊

Money is the root of all evils, that is a saying in my family, is not that they detest money, but that it should always be used and cared in a way that doesn't affect family or friends. That set aside, your good experience is quite cute, and I found it interesting :)

Thank you for passing through 😊

It is always great to see someone having knowledge of engines where I also get to learn, your experiences will surely make more skilled in the future.

Great stuff!

Im glad you were able to chop off some funds on that repair, however it is as you stated he does a good job and he also needs money for survival!

I hope you were able to patch things up with the repair man, because you will someday need him again! Like you said!

Have a good one broh

Yh. I was

All good my man
