Welcome to the robotic era in digital Collectible Trading Card Games. Humans have vanished from the material plane and robots are now dominating the galaxy. ChiFiBots is bringing a plethora of new features into the TCG world, with limited edition cards, world building, land ownership and much more.
Oh and robots, did we mention robots?
The Problem
In traditional digital Trading Card Games, you have to invest a lot of money and usually end up with nothing when you've left the game. You don't know the true rarity of a card, how many copies exist out there, who owns them and if the gaming developer is printing new copies whenever they feel like it. You cannot sell or trade your cards, because you basically don't own them.
Also, when you don't behave the way the game developer or its shareholders want you to, they can and will take away everything you have worked for, including those cards you did spend real money on.
Eventually, all your in-game assets and achievements end up in the scrapyard.
Our Mission
The tides are turning and blockchain technology is putting real asset ownership back into the hands of players and investors. This new and exciting frontier is the specialty of our company NFT Studios. All our four founding members have years of experience with blockchains, decentralized communities and NFT games.
We will make a unique, affordable, and fun digital trading card game where you verifiably own each card, via a secure cryptographic wallet access. Only YOU will be in control of your assets. You will be able to trade, rent and sell your cards to other players. We will have no access to them from the moment they enter your wallet.

Innovation

Storyline
Welcome to the universe known as the Cosmos.
The year is 2080 and humans have been extinct since the infamous Wipeout Day in 2030 when Planet Earth was destroyed by a series of meteors. ChiFiBots now inhabit the planets across the cosmos, desperately searching for their life source, the precious Fusion crystals.
The main story centers around 3 planets:
Planet Polaris - Queen Athena struggles to obtain more Fusion to keep her Alpha Kingdom afloat, while grappling with the balance of power on her planet and within herself.
Planet Vega - A 40 year rivalry between 3 former allies is at hand between Shambo, Jaw Lock, and Goliath. One foolish decision could set off a war for the ages.
Planet Atlas - The last saviour and newest ChiFiBot “Twinkle Dust” navigates her new world as she attempts to save her fellow ChiFiBots from slavery.
Although ChiFiBots is a friendly environment, these characters are deeply flawed and it's ultimately a story about survival and sacrifice.
It begs the question: How far will you go to save your loved ones?

Gameplay
The alpha version of ChiFiBots will feature the ChiFiBot characters in a 6 vs 6 format.
All ChiFiBots fall into one of three categories.
- Brute - The tank role. Higher HP and shield.
- Gladiator - The damage role. Higher attack points.
- Technician - The support role. Has abilities.
The game will center around a punch/kick/slam battle format that is similar to rock/scissors/paper.
Punch beats Kick. Kick beats Slam. Slam beats Punch.
If you pick a winner, you negate the opponent’s attack. If you both pick the same option, both attacks go through.
Only 1 ChiFiBot is in the active position and only the active ChiFiBot can attack or defend.
The base set expansion will introduce a flurry of new card types to make the game more dynamic. Weapons, Armour, Artifacts, Locations - your ChiFiBots will have much to play with. And so will you!
Abilities and Moves
Technicians will have abilities that are either used once per turn from the bench or in the active position.
Abilities can be learned by other ChiFiBots in game or as an upgrade.
All ChiFiBots have unique moves and specials.
Specials are powerful moves that cannot be negated. The only restriction is that once a special has been used, that user cannot use another special for the rest of the match.
Users will be able to upgrade their ChiFiBots to gain stat boosts, utility slots, moves, and abilities via a skill tree.

We are glad you asked.
Making a brand new game takes a lot of time and money. This shouldn't come as a surprise to you.
However, being a digital TCG at the cutting edge of technology, programming costs have skyrocketed recently. There are just not that many developers out there, so the few existing ones can, understandably, ask for high salaries. The money will go to programming and building the community.
Luckily, we are experts in community building, as we are already running 1UP, a play2earn community on the HIVE blockchain. This enables us to tap into our own experience for ChiFiBots, as well as use the power of our existing community to kickstart everything to bring our robots to life.

What Are The Keys?
Keys are special NFT's that can be exchanged in three exclusive stores. These stores are separate from the main shop and can feature: packs, avatar items, and exclusive ChiFiBot cards.
There are three types of keys that can be acquired in ChiFiBots.
- Promo Key - only obtainable in promotions.
- Winner’s Key - only obtainable by winning end of season rankings or major tournaments.
- Founder’s Key - only obtainable by being a founding member of the team, a large investor, or exchanging a certain amount of winner keys.
Access To Alpha Testing
As a HIVE pre-sale investor, starting from Tier 2, you will get exclusive access to our Alpha testing, as soon as the first playable versions are available.
This also means that you will have the chance to help improve and adapt ChiFiBots, as one of our esteemed investors and advisors.

What are “Promo” packs?
HIVE promo packs will be a combination of ChiFiBot character cards and other new cards exclusive to those who obtain their packs via this HIVE pre-sale.
It is scheduled to be released after the base set and will act as a mini set and may potentially introduce a new game mechanic.
What are “Day One” packs?
Day One packs are the alpha packs consisting of only ChiFiBots that are playable in the Alpha game. These include the 20 original base set ChiFiBots and one exclusive promo “Alpha Bot”, the first ChiFiBot.
Each starter pack or collection pack includes the Day One exclusive "Alpha Bot" ChiFiBot Card.
What are “Base Set” packs?
Base Set packs are part of the first expansion of the game, that features various objects, modules, environments, support and artifact cards. These cards will add more depth to player decision-making and introduce a “standard” style of the game.

We are doing an over-the counter pre-sale on HIVE. This means you will need a HIVE account to participate in our pre-sale.

Step 2: Install HIVE Keychain
HIVE Keychain is a free browser plugin, similar to MetaMask for Ethereum, that allows you to safely and quickly handle your HIVE keys, for logging into HIVE apps and making transactions. It is available for Chrome, Brave and Firefox.
After you created a new local account with a password, you can add your new HIVE keys to the plugin.
Step 3: Choose Your Payment Token

If your amount of HIVE is worth LESS than the TIER you want to purchase, we will have to refund you.
HBD is available on Bittrex, Upbit and Blocktrades, as well as as on the internal HIVE market. It is the stablecoin of the HIVE ecosystem and we accept it 1 HBD for 1 USD value.
SWAP.HIVE can be swapped from HIVE to SWAP.HIVE via BeeSwap, LeoDex (both 0.25% fee) and HivePay (0.2% fee), IF enough liquidity is available. If not, you will have to use the original issuer Tribaldex with a 1% fee. If your amount of SWAP.HIVE is worth LESS than the TIER you want to purchase, we will have to refund you.
SWAP.HBD can be deposited from HBD via Tribaldex for a 1% fee. Alternatively, you can swap it for SWAP.HIVE on Tribaldex Dieselpools, which are also supported by BeeSwap.
SWAP.BUSD is our preferred payment method, as deposits and withdrawals of BUSD via Tribaldex are without any fees, other than the network fees in BNB. You can get BUSD on Binance as well as PancakeSwap. There are also Tribaldex Dieselpools for SWAP.BUSD but be careful about the price, as it might differ to its intended USD-peg.
Step 5: Send Your Payment Token To @nftstudios
The final step is the over-the counter payment via a compatible HIVE wallet to our HIVE account @nftstudios. You can use Peakd, Ecency, Hive.blog or HIVE Keychain for the transaction of HIVE or HBD. For the SWAP tokens you can use HIVE Keychain (click on "Tokens"), the HIVE frontend Peakd (wallet/Hive-Engine), or use the wallets from LeoDex, Tribaldex or BeeSwap.
- As username select
nftstudios(without the @). - For the amount select the price of the TIER you want to purchase; you can buy multiple TIERs in one transaction, by adding their value together.
- Make sure to use the MEMO field and include all the TIERs you want to purchase with this transaction.
Example: You want to get 1x TIER 5 for $1,000 USD and 2x TIER 2 for $50 each. You send $1,100 USD worth of your preferred token and add the MEMO "Tier 5, Tier 2, Tier 2" (or: 1x Tier 5, 2x Tier 2). The exact phrasing doesn't matter but it must be clear to us what you want to get.
What happens if a TIER is sold out?

Question though, how does building on the Aspire Network help Hive? How does any success on the Aspire Network swap over to Hive? Will Hive be incorporated at all on the roadmap?
Very important question, thank you for asking!
We decided for Aspire, because of our partners Michael Terpin and Jim Blasko, who are the founders of Aspire and the main investors and now shareholders of NFT Studios. They are very influential in the blockchain world and their network will be a major advantage of ChiFiBots. We will be the flagship apps on Aspire, with NFT Studios and ChiFiBots, building the infrastructure for everything to come afterwards there.
How that exactly translates into success for HIVE is nothing I can answer directly, only indirectly: We love HIVE, we are here for the past 5 years. We will not abandon HIVE to build somewhere else and turn our back on our roots.
So in order to achieve the greatest value for both Aspire and HIVE, we will look into ways to build bridges on many levels. Leveraging community on HIVE, through 1UP but potentially also with our own ChiFiBots tribe. Creating tools for HIVE like an NFT market place that crosses not just between Aspire and HIVE but also other blockchains. Using HIVE accounts to create Aspire wallets and play directly via your HIVE login on Aspire. Giving first access, like with this campaign, to the HIVE users.
Honestly, there is much work in front of us to put that all into a proper vision and realize it along the way. How exactly it will play out, we don't know yet. But the HIVE community will be the first to know!

Yes, that is just MVP gameplay, the ACTUAL gameplay is much cooler and more complex. But we need to start small and work our way up!

Ok that clarifies some things for me. What is the difference between a Hive Power “Hive ChiFiBot Promo” Card and “Day One” Starter Pack. I can see that the higher option gives more packs for base and promo but it lacks the day one packs.

Okay I had another question I didn't think about until now:
I noticed Tier 2 has a Day One Pack, and that day one packs come with the "Chifi Alpha Bot" character. Which would mean multiple characters, correct?
Tier 3 does not appear to come with a Day One Pack, but comes with a Hive power Chifibot Promo, so 1 Character instead of multiple.
Just wanted to confirm if this is the case; it seems like I'd need a Tier 2, with its Day One pack, over (or in addition to) a Tier 3, in order to play more effectively immediately

If you buy in at Tier 2 does it also include what is in Tier 1 as well? Just curious. From what I can see you can buy in at a Tier multiple times or into multiple tiers. That's interesting. And it would also mean that each tier has benefits that are not included in the others.

This is really interesting and I probably will be investing in this game. One thing I want to add/request is a blogging contest of sort like what Splinterlands did in Hive is really good. It serves as free marketing and the art contest can serve as future ideas for your game. Your only investment on it is curation. It's a win-win for both sides.
I hope you think about it and it makes little investors like me get hive to be able to invest on future cards that would be satisfying to have.
