Sure! I think there can be multiple admins but only one owner. Are you interested in ownership of the community? I myself don't care either way. I can create the community, I don't think it'll cost anything as I have resource credits.

I also found out that there is already a Hive Beginners Tips Community which has a FAQ and a lot of useful links.
So maybe we shouldn't reinvent the wheel.
I've also found the following guide which can be very useful for newbies.
Ultimate Guide: What is Hive And How Does It Work?

And last but not least I read about a new initiative for beginners yesterday:
Hive Guide

The only question is how to get the newbies to these information.
That is great, I just joined it: https://peakd.com/c/hive-198524/created
Maybe that would be a good question to pose to that community. I have a couple of ideas but would be great to have a larger pool of ideas. Would you be interested in making such a post there?
I'm a bit doubtful. This community has good info in pinned posts, but is not active at all and has just over 50 members.
I recently joined a Discord channel from The terminal which is "Your one-stop location for learning about destinations on the Blockchain both Hive and Steem & Discord" according to their community

The people in the discord are very helpful and have a lot of knowledge. The community is bigger, but has no pinned posts with basic info. Secondly the name does not reveal it's a beginners community and the community cannot be found with terms like newbie or beginner. So I doubt that beginners will easily find their way to the discord of the community to get help.
I'll contact one of the admins of the Terminal discord I know to see how she thinks about it.
I'll keep you informed.
