Hoy quise hacer algo diferente, hace unos días estaba viendo algunos videos de una de mis bandas de Rock favoritas, Evanescence sin duda marco mi adolescencia y hasta el día de hoy sigo amando todas sus canciones, pero hablemos un poco de la estética de Amy lee, la cual para mi es una diosa, me parece una mujer super hermosa y con un estilo bastante único, ojos super claros que resaltan con un maquillaje casi siempre oscuro, una inspiración para mis maquillajes de adolescencia y algunos actuales.
Entonces vi este video de un festival llamado rock am ring celebrado en el año 2003 donde estuvieron diferentes bandas que me gustan incluyendo a Evanescence, cuando vi el maquillaje de Amy lee me enamoré totalmente, un ojo con sombra verde neón y el otro completamente negro con algunas líneas cayendo hacia las mejillas, definitivamente tenia que recrearlo o al menos intentarlo, fue algo difícil guiarme por el video y las fotos de ese festival porque las imágenes se ven de mala calidad, pero hice lo mejor que pude, aquí les dejo la referencia que mejor pude conseguir, espero que les guste.

Today I wanted to do something different, a few days ago I was watching some videos of one of my favorite Rock bands, Evanescence certainly marked my adolescence and to this day I still love all their songs, but let's talk a little about the aesthetics of Amy Lee, which for me is a goddess, I find a super beautiful woman with a very unique style, super clear eyes that stand out with a makeup almost always dark, an inspiration for my makeup as a teenager and some current ones.
Then I saw this video of a festival called rock am ring celebrated in 2003 where there were different bands that I like including Evanescence, when I saw Amy lee's makeup I totally fell in love, one eye with neon green shadow and the other completely black with some lines falling towards the cheeks, I definitely had to recreate it or at least try it, it was a little difficult to guide me by the video and photos of that festival because the images look of poor quality, but I did the best I could, here I leave the best reference I could get, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process
Antes de comenzar, como siempre limpié e hidraté mi rostro.
Para este maquillaje necesitaba cambiar mucho la forma de mi ceja ya que para los años 2000’ se usaba mas que todo cejas muy finas y un poco más marcadas, además de tener una curva un poco mas exagerada, asi que comencé a aplicar pegamento en barra en la mitad de mis cejas, dejando secar y colocando alrededor de unas 5 capas, selle con polvo traslucido y terminé de cubrir usando corrector, luego tome sombra de ojos marrón claro y un pincel de cejas, con el cual comencé a dibujar la forma de las cejas, haciéndolas muy finas y con una leve curva.
Ahora comencé a pintar el ojo izquierdo, tome sombra de ojos verde neón y comencé a aplicarla tanto arriba como en la línea de agua, en el ojo derecho rellené con delineador en gel y difumine con sombra de ojos negra, igualmente pinte arriba y en la línea de agua.
Before starting, as always I cleaned and moisturized my face.
For this makeup I needed to change a lot the shape of my eyebrow because for the 2000's they used to be very thin and a little bit more marked, besides having a little bit more exaggerated curve, so I started applying glue stick in the middle of my eyebrows, letting it dry and placing about 5 layers, I sealed with translucent powder and finished covering using concealer, then I took light brown eyeshadow and an eyebrow brush, with which I began to draw the shape of the eyebrows, making them very thin and with a slight curve.
Now I started to paint the left eye, I took neon green eyeshadow and started to apply it both above and on the water line, on the right eye I filled in with gel eyeliner and blended with black eyeshadow, I also painted above and on the water line.
Tome pintura corporal verde neón la mezcle con muy poca agua y con un cepillo de pestañas comencé a pintar mis pestañas del lado verde, después de tener listo los ojos, empecé a aplicar base en mi rostro, la cual mezcle con un poco de pintura blanca para lucir un poco más pálida, esta vez no use muchos contornos ni rubor, simplemente selle con polvo traslucido y coloque una pequeña cantidad de rubor marrón y un poco en la nariz, pero sin exagerar mucho, coloque un labial nude y finalmente tome pintura corporal negra y empecé a realizar las líneas que salen desde el ojo que pinte de negro.
I took neon green body paint and mixed it with very little water and with an eyelash brush I started to paint my eyelashes on the green side, after I had the eyes ready, I started to apply foundation on my face, which I mixed with a little white paint to look a little paler, this time I didn't use much contouring or blush, I simply sealed with translucent powder and put a small amount of brown blush and a little on the nose, but without exaggerating too much, I put a nude lipstick and finally I took black body paint and started to make the lines that come out from the eye that I painted black.
