There has been a manor here since the mid 17th century, and was owned by the Von Brevern clan, a family of Baltic German Aristocrats from the beginning of the 19th century until the signing of the non aggression treaty between Germany and the Soviet union 1939 and the subsequent nazi-Soviet population resettlement.

Here endeth the history lesson, simply because I can't find anything more about it, other than it is now in private ownership; which is a shame as I guess it would have a rich history to tell us about Soviet times.
It has hardly changed its appearance over the last hundred years or so, im guessing the original snap is early 20th Century
No furtive sneaking about with this one, its in the middle of a big fuck off open space, no gate no fence no man in a little white van; nothing.

The place was in a bad state, neglected.....
....but not unloved, plenty of big walls for decoration
I was expecting a grand old marble staircase to take me up to check out the missing floors.
A very modest but still splendid wooden stairs.
Some of the floors had gone completely, yet others still solid underfoot, just lots of empty rooms really oh and a rather splendid chair, that I would love in my own home
Some well worn treads took me to the small attic, is this where the servants lived? nothing grand nothing fancy for the serfs I guess.
Wallpaper underlay, news papers from the 60's period, they are pages from (thanks to google translate) "Soviet Estonia"
In 1968 the Soviet Union secured 91 medals across 18 sports.
So, my time here is done, and like the von Brevens I must depart for pastures new. well not pastures just windows to climb through.

It is amazing that after all these years, the building exterior does not change that much
But when looking at the interior, I can just imagine the amount of beating this building has taken
