I am speaking from experiences of @dismayedworld, who ritually left her goody bags all over the house. Halloween was even worse, as she likes the trick or treating but then didn't bother consuming the treats, and I hate those Haribo things.
Give me Chocolate Tools (don't exist now), White Mice (so small you can barely see them now), or that Highland Toffee stuff (only available in Scotland), and I would tuck in.
Oops, I bloomin missed this. Work has been hellish. Ah those white mice! I love them still although as you say they are now very very small indeed!
