Today is the day dedicated to exploring the Olympic Park built, in the Songpa-gu district - Seoul, for the 1988 Olympic Games.
The weather offers sustained wind and the cold is coming, however a walk to have a first look is nothing to worry about.
The entrance to the Park is a large colorful "arch" and a flame in the center with a message of brotherhood among peoples.

Oggi è il giorno dedicato all'esplorazione del Parco costruito per i Giochi Olimpici del 1988, nel distretto Songpa-gu, a Seoul.
Il meteo offre vento sostenuto e il freddo sta arrivando, tuttavia una passeggiata per dare una prima occhiata non è nulla di cui preoccuparsi.
L'ingresso al Parco è un grande "arco" colorato e una fiamma al centro con un messaggio di fratellanza tra i popoli.

As we pass the entrance, we are welcomed into a large square, where there are a few stores and markets. The square is certainly the first meeting point for everyone and is populated by families strolling and children playing sports on inline skates, bicycles and longboards.
There is no shouting or excessive noise. There is joy but a basic respect for the common tranquility of all visitors.

Superato l'ingresso, veniamo accolti in una grande piazza, dove ci sono alcuni negozi e mercatini. La piazza è sicuramente il primo punto d'incontro per tutti ed è popolata da famiglie che passeggiano e bambini che fanno sport su pattini in linea, biciclette e longboard.
Non ci sono urla o rumori eccessivi. C'è allegria ma anche un rispetto di fondo per la tranquillità comune di tutti i visitatori.

The square ends with a semicircle that can be crossed and we see the flags of all the countries for games.
Of course, the first thing to do is to look for the flag of your country.

La piazza termina con un semicerchio che può essere attraversato e vediamo le bandiere di tutti i paesi per i Giochi.
Naturalmente la prima cosa da fare è cercare la bandiera del proprio paese.

Going down the two side staircases we can admire the engravings to commemorate the winners in the various disciplines of the Olympic Games.

This final area of the plaza overlooks the park's large lake that takes water from the Han River.

The park immediately offers the feeling of cleanliness and elegance.
Since 1988 it is constantly kept in order and with care of the vegetation. Maintenance workers and cameras in operation give the feeling of tranquility and care.
You will notice many clean trash cans and toilets as well as rest areas with exercise equipment along all trails.

Il parco offre subito la sensazione di pulizia ed eleganza.
Dal 1988 è costantemente tenuto in ordine e con cura della vegetazione. Manutentori e telecamere in funzione danno la sensazione di tranquillità e assistenza.
Noto molti cestini e servizi igienici puliti, così come aree di riposo con attrezzature per l'esercizio lungo tutti i sentieri.

The landscape shows us large flat and hilly areas, ideal for different activities in groups or alone.
Walks with different levels of difficulty and meeting places.
The vegetation is luxuriant and varied, in autumn many colors come to life.

Il paesaggio ci mostra grandi aree pianeggianti e collinari, ideali per diverse attività in gruppo o da soli, adatti ad ogni età.
Passeggiate con diversi livelli di difficoltà e luoghi di incontro.
La vegetazione è rigogliosa e varia, in autunno prendono vita molti colori.

Among the certainly most distinctive spots is this area of a plant (Gaura lindheimeri) that offers a beautiful view.
To this particular hotspot, I want to dedicate more photos in a future post.

Tra i punti sicuramente più caratteristici c'è questa zona di una pianta (Gaura lindheimeri) che offre un bel contrasto e una caratteristica visuale.

The variable weather, brings new colors at dusk, thanks also to the different scenarios that are encountered along the walk, more or less dense with vegetation, shadows and lights.
The gigantic Tower is always well visible and offers a convenient reference point for orientation.

Il meteo variabile, porta nuovi colori all'imbrunire, grazie anche ai diversi scenari che si incontrano lungo la camminata, più o meno fitti di vegetazione, ombre e luci.
La gigantesca Torre è sempre ben visibile e offre un comodo punto di riferimento per orientarsi.
