年紀大了，沒老婆小孩，支出也就少些，沒想到連生日都花不到錢，竟然去了免費的動物園。這個動物園除了免費，離我家又近，而我又是開電動車，所以連油錢都沒出。剛好在這動物園的門口有個捐錢箱，我就捐個幾塊澳幣。
As I get older being a single person without wife and kids, I don't spend money on much. Who would have thought that even for my birthday, I couldn't spend any money either because I went to a free zoo. Since I live close to this zoo and I drive an electric car, I didn't even have to spend petrol money. However there is a donation box at the entrance so I put a couple of dollars in.
當然，在澳洲的動物園，最容易看到的就是不同種類的袋鼠。以下就是兩種照給您看。
Of course, in an Australian zoo, the easiest animal to see are different kinds of kangaroos / wallabies. Here are two different kinds.
接下來就看些平常看不到的動物。這是袋鼬，小時候跟袋鼠一樣，住在媽媽的育兒袋裡。圖案中的介紹有提到，生存環境越來越少，所以變得很稀有。
Next we have some less common animals. Here is the spotted Tail Quoll. Just like kangaroos they live in mother's pouch just after they're born. As stated in the sign below, due to the clearing of habitat there are now quite few of them.
接下來是一隻叫做Mirrigin的老鹰，圖案中看不出來但非常大隻。老鷹很久以前被人類都快射殺光了，非常可憐，現在是保護動物。
Next we have an eagle called Mirrigin. From the picture you can't tell how large she is, but she is very large. Unfortunately eagles have been shot by humans to near extinction long ago, now they are fully protected.
再來給大家看黑天鵝。說到黑天鵝，大家可能會想到巴雷舞電影黑天鵝。但可能沒有很多人知道黑天鵝是從澳洲來的，十七世紀前沒人知道有這動物。
Next we have black swan. When you mention black swan you probably think of the Ballet movie, but not many people probably know that black swans originate from Australia, and nobody knew about them before the 17th century.
最後給大家看兩隻長相剛好相反的烏龜住在一起，一隻長脖子，一隻短脖子。動物還很多一篇寫不完了，如果有興趣的話下次再幫你們介紹!
Lastly we have two opposite looking turtles living together, one with long neck and one with short neck. There are many more animals in the zoo but I can't fit it all in one article. If there is interest I can discuss more next time!

First off all Happy birthday!!! It's so good that you have such zoo near your home, coz in my case it not so close to us so visit it with kids we need to take suburban train.
And if to talk about black swans just nearly 2 months ago we were in local safari park and there black swans

I was not aware of Tail Quoll . I always thought that kangaroo is the only one with pouch where she places her baby but it's surprising yet interesting to know that Tail Quoll also do this.
