教書二十年第一次在教書時拍照

最近十幾年來，做什麼事都習慣照張相，日後回憶比較方便，而且在社交媒體上可以分享經驗給家人朋友。

再過一個星期我就不在學校教書了。突然我想到，等等，我好像沒有一張教書的照片。

於是，我讓學生幫我拍了張。

拍出來後給我媽看，她的第一句話:

• 看起來不胖。

這還不錯，但第二句:

• 你這數學教的太簡單了。

其實這一行數學雖然簡單，但十分重要。

在我十一二歲時，第一次接觸到代數X，我的數學分數退步很多，因為沒有完全懂。

一直到十三歲碰到一個老師，教我怎麼Balance Equations (平衡方程式)，之後考試就一直拿到滿分。

Balance Equations就是不管怎麼運算，在等號的左右邊都要做同樣的操作，這樣左右邊的數值才會相等。這就是為什麼我在等號的左右邊都寫上了-3, 而不是只在右邊-3。

接下來就可以把左邊的+3 與 -3劃掉，因為+3與-3會變成0。剩下來就知道X是什麼。

普通人看到X+3=7，認為X是4很簡單，但我是用簡單的問題來教一個新的想法。

從另一個角度照相。

Hey brother, it's really good that you capture your moments to recall them in future. You know same goes with me that I always take pictures and post them somewhere so that I can easily check them in nearby or distant future.
