Yoga yoga yoga ... to warm up my body without heating / ヨガ暖房

The heating system in our building is not properly functioning. Some of other residents have the same issue. The house maintenance company called us and sent a technician to fix it. After that it works sometimes but not all the time. The temperature of my work space (kitchen) is 12 degrees. I wear a shirt, two pullovers. And of course regular socks and wool socks I knitted by myself.

To warm up my body from inside, I do 10-15 min yoga session more frequently than before. After I wake up, before lunch, before dinner and stretching before going to bed ... wow! My body and me are happy to feel warm and this becomes a kind of routine.

Actually the timings are really good. I used to do yoga in the morning and before going to bed. After breakfast, my body gradually uses energy and cools down. My stomach becomes empty. When I do yoga on this timing, my body warms up and I don't suffer from full stomach. Same for the evening yoga.

In addition to frequent yoga, I drink tea with ginger slices. It helps me to temporary warms up my body.

I wish the heating system is fixed soon ...

建物の暖房システムが壊れていて、家の暖房がついたりつかなかったりの日々が続いています。暖房がつかなくなったのが今週の半ばで、一度修理の人が来てくれたのですが、その後もついたりつかなかったり。幸い去年の12月初旬のようなマイナス十何度といった寒さではありませんが、0度近辺でやっぱり寒いです。私の仕事場の台所は12度ほど。

長袖のTシャツの上にセーターを二枚着て、足元は靴下を二枚ばきして、大丈夫ではあるのですが、体を内側から温めたくなってきました。

日々ヨガを朝晩していたのですが、お昼ご飯前と、夕食前を追加したところいい感じです。温まりたいというモチベーションからか、私も体もこのルーチンを取り入れつつあります。夕飯を食卓に並べる10-15分前はすべてコンロやオーブンに任せられる感じにしてヨガを始めます。

昼前と夕食前って実はいいタイミングなんですよね。前の食事から時間が経って、体が冷えてきているし、お腹がいっぱいでないのでヨガがしやすいのです。

ヨガの他には、生姜のスライスを入れてお茶を飲んでいます。効果はものすごく長続きしないけれど、飲んだ瞬間は体が温まるのでいい感じです。

ヨガの習慣はキープしたいですが、暖房にもはやく直ってほしいです 😅

Noooo I'm not a professional at all. There are nice videos online. But I will show some when I master few postures I set as my yoga goals for 2023 😉
