Love them or hate them, you simply cannot survive without Men. Men are Said to be God's favourite creation. Well that was until women were created.

All through the years men have been through a whole lot and then heaped with too many expectations. All these and they're not expected to shed a tear at all! Of Course people will say be "take it as a man or be a man"

The whole stress on masculinity and the need to stay strong has been so important that we often forget that men are human too. Yes, whatever you might think men have a heart too.

During the youthful age - early to late 20s, Men are known to be wild and stuff. They tend to enjoy life, party hard etc. But as times goes on and maturity begins to set in the reality of life begins to dawn on him and his perspective gradually begins to change

As a man there are Four major things that can/will change a his perspective about life;

  1. When his father dies.
    Most men, irrespective of their age when their father dies, their feeling of taking over the responsibility and burden on their shoulders becomes glaring. Their father’s death leaves a vacuum in the family dynamic, and sons often feel compelled to step up to try to fill their father’s role. This is especially true if the father had been the leader and protector of the family
    This mostly is where he is the oldest or only son. In cases where the father left no inheritance and the family is struggling to survive plus they are still of a young age they grew up suddenly.
    His perspective about life gradually changes

  2. When he gets married:

He learns commitment more in this case. Especially to his beloved wife. He stops much of the late nights, partying and learns to be at home and on time to be with his wife. As they take on a new role as a married man, they become more conscientious, they tend to work harder and feel more responsible.
If he was extroverted he tends to become less especially with the opposite gender.

  1. When he becomes a father:

Being a dad is not a joke. The effect can overnight make most men become more responsible in every sense of the word. Caring for your little one, financial responsibilities all make men practically change their views of life. They begin to spend thoughtfully, saving up for the future contingencies and for the baby's future. They learn to become more security conscious as they are now the protector of the family. Most times after going through labour with their wife they learn to respect women more.

  1. when he loses his source of livelihood:

Well I wouldn't say much on this. Already as a human when you lose your source of livelihood it breaks you a lot.
This actually deals with both gender but much more in the case of a man with family responsibilities in our present dispensation..

It is said that by the time a man realizes his father was right, he already has a son who thinks he's wrong. To all men there's more to life than living dangerously. We'll all experience it except you plan to skip those four things above.
