RE: Hive Open Mic Week 81 : Kopi Dangdut cover by @donirosayandi & @Dhea

Songwriter and singer Fahmi Shahab revealed that the song Kopi Dangdut was first released not in Indonesia but in Japan in 1991 ago.

Then, in accordance with the commitment and cooperation, then the song created by Fahmi was released in Indonesia.
However, Fahmi does not deny that the song Kopi Dangdut is a plagiarized song from "Moliendo Cafe" from Venezuela. Which Dangdut Coffee took the license of the song.
Legally, the song is not disputed because it has gone through various licensing processes.
I hope this will shed light on this problem @jesuslnrs

Great, thanks for providing more information. And well, when I mention the dispute over the authorship of the melody, I mean the original gentlemen who made it known in the 1950s. They were the ones who spent their entire lives on it, and I understand it because the song it has been very successful and covered. But hey, it makes me happy to hear these covers in other languages. Maybe it even has a different meaning, but I heard it and thought about my land in the same way. They have made it beautiful, @dhea voice has nothing to criticize, it is perfect. Thanks for this answer friend...

It's true what you said @jesuslnrs , Moliendo Cafe and Kopi Dangdut have different meanings, Kopi Dangdut tells about the feeling of happiness felt by someone falling in love, while Moliendo Café' actually tells the opposite feeling.
Thank you for your flattery, good luck to you @jesuslnrs
