Thank you so much for listening @jessicaossom
Very glad you enjoyed it!
I recorded the audio live, through a microphone and soundcard to a computer using Audacity, an audio recording app...
A soundcard enables you to hear the music via headphones while recording.
Here's my audio and instrument setup. Also included it at the end of the post.
Saxophone: Proel Eflat Alto Saxophone
Reed: Rico 2.5 (Modified)
Mouthpiece: Generic Jazz Metallic mouthpiece
Microphone: Behringer C3
Edited and Mixed on: Audacity
Soundcard?
Is that like an app one has to install to use?
It's an audio interface device that processes sound from a microphone and converts it to high quality digital audio, which it feeds a computer usually via a USB connection.
So it's general AIM is to provide great sound via USB for recording/editing on your computer.
It looks like this.

They come in various types and sizes, with various capabilities, the major differences being the level of quality of sound and the amount of inputs they can take.
Summarily, all it does is to supply quality audio to your computer and your headset.
You can now decide what app you want to use on your computer to record/edit the audio.
Okay, thanks for the explanation.
I don't even have a computer
You can actually get good audio without a computer too.
All you need is a good microphone! And there are a few affordable mics that can do the job.
Some phones do actually have great mics inbuilt too.
Long before now, I'll record straight into a phone and get some useful audio.
It's about how well one can use what you have on your hands.
Oh alright.
Thanks alot
