A continuación les canto un tema muy conocido en las iglesias estadounidenses “Oh Happy Day” del destacado compositor, pianista, arreglista y maestro de coro en iglesias. Se le considera uno de los músicos pioneros que abrieron paso a la conformación del góspel contemporáneo urbano, El maestro Edwin Reuben Hawkins (Oakland, California; 18 de agosto de 1943-Pleasanton, California). Él y su banda, los Edwin Hawkins Singers estrenaron este tema en el año 1968. La cual les llevo a ganar varios premios Grammy por este tema y otros más.
No hay algo o alguien más positivo más favorable y más esperanzador que Jesucristo el hijo de Dios y en esta canción ( Oh Happy Day) nos describe a Jesús como aquel que lava nuestros pecados, este canto nos anima a orar y luchar a seguir adelante es un hermoso tema espero que lo disfruten.
La grabación de esta canción la hice en un pequeño estudio casero de mi amigo Cesar Linares @osomeltrozo y su esposa Reina Párraga la cual fue la camarógrafa y lo hizo desde su celular un Sansung galaxy para ellos mis agradeciminetos y a mi amigo Armando linares @alinares por ayudarme a realizar los post, gracias a ellos es que estoy participando en esta maravillosa comunidad de Hive Open Mic.
Here I sing a song well known in the American churches "Oh Happy Day" of the outstanding composer, pianist, arranger and choirmaster in churches. He is considered one of the pioneering musicians who made way for the contemporary urban gospel, Maestro Edwin Reuben Hawkins (Oakland, California; August 18, 1943-Pleasanton, California). He and his band, the Edwin Hawkins Singers released this song in 1968. Which led them to win several Grammy Awards for this song and others. There is nothing or someone more positive more favorable and more hopeful than Jesus Christ the son of God and in this song (Oh Happy Day) he describes Jesus as the one who washes away our sins This song encourages us to pray and fight to move on. It is a beautiful theme. I hope you enjoy it.
