Global harmony is our mission. World peace is our vision. Our community's weekly open mic event attracts enthusiastic musicians and listeners. Our virtual song circle reaches globally, while upholding the classic pattern of a traditional open mic event. At the end of each week, we celebrate the music with a Community Concert.
Everyone is welcome here in our haven for expression and connection. We welcome music fans and casual listeners, while holding space for musicians of every style and any skill level. Here, music lovers build real relationships worldwide. Every contributor can be proud of the fact we are building a more harmonious world by sharing our enjoyment of music.
For the 120th week of Hive Open Mic, we will explore the following theme: "Mi Felicidad." In English, this means: "My Happiness." This theme is chosen by our recent Spotlight Artist: @jorge234nv. Everyone is encouraged to share the collective current as we express and connect through: Mi Felicidad.
“Mi Felicidad”
This week's Hive Open Mic theme is: “Mi Felicidad.” This is a pressure-free invitation, encouraging us to explore new territory together as artists, sharing common ground as a community. Musicians always have full freedom to bring whatever music feels inspired in the moment. Here's a timeline, for anyone wishing to look back, be present, or prepare future entries.
How To Play
1. Produce - Introduce your video by saying the words, “Hive Open Mic Week [1],” including your name. Perform a song.
2. Present - Post your video in the Hive Open Mic community. Include the tag #openmic.
3. Promote - Share your link in the comments section of Sunday's open mic invitation in order to ensure your entry is heard.
4. Prosper - Build relationships by engaging with fellow music lovers through uplifting comments.

Show support by engaging with the musicians. The greatest gift we can give to an artist is our attention. For this reason, we humbly ask that everyone offer some friendly words. Reward musicians by offering applause as if we're in a pub, a coffee shop, or concert hall. Our comments might be the vital voice that gives a musician the wings to fly, or the gills to dive deep!

Genial. Me gusta este tema. Ahora si me pongo las alpargatas que lo que viene es joropo. La semana pasada sobre los prejuicios y ahora sobre nuestra felicidad. Hay un mundo sin límites para esta temática.

It is something profound that He imparts to our souls, joy that is true happiness since it does not depend on external circumstances "and it is not that pain is lacking but that He is by my side" That is why I am always happy. You see... When I'm invited to a party... I enjoy it, since I really like dancing, but it's an ephemeral joy... the party is over, that joy is over. But when I go to church, to praise and adore the Lord, that joy that He gives me... is so great... that I leave the church and the joy goes home with me... That's why... my happiness and my greatest joy is... the joy that the Lord gives.

Hello, community, we have reached week 120 and we have been looking for songs that speak to us about happiness, a theme proposed by our Spotlight Artist @jorge234nv and that has made us all happy to tune in to a theme that speaks to us of joy, laughter and wellness. I chose among several options the song "La Felicidad" (Happiness) that became fashionable several decades ago in the voice of the Argentine singer Palito Ortega.
