Hello, Hive Open Mic community! It's JessicaOssom here again. I hope you're all doing well and having fun.

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Right here, it's a rainy Saturday. It has been raining since early morning, and I am just glad I will not be taking physical lectures this weekend. I have plans to go to my church for choir rehearsal later today, and when I get back, I guess I'll just have to cozy up at home and read a book. Maybe watch a movie or something.

However, I still have to continue with my personal reading because we still have tests to do and our exam is fast approaching. I'll just have to do my best to make the most of the weekend while still studying. I'm really looking forward to our choir ministration on Sunday, and I'm confident it will be great.

This week's theme is urban music, but I chose to sing a song that relates to last week's theme, and it is titled 'Lean on Me by Bill Withers'.

This song is about the power of friendship and support in times of need. It is also a reminder of the importance of being there for one another and lifting each other up in difficult times. It is a song that speaks to my heart and resonates with me.

We all need one to lean on at some point in our lives. This song encourages us to be there for one another and to rely on others in times of need.

After recording my audio, I decided to have fun with the auto pitch feature on Bandlab. It's the first time I'm using it, and I felt that I should get people's feedback on it.

The Bandlab Autopitch has different types. The type I used for my vocals was big harmony. What it did was harmonize my voice in different parts, and I think it's cool if one knows how to use it well. It's a great way to add some flair to a song and some depth to the vocal track. It's easy to use, and it's a great way to add some flavor to a vocal track.

Jess the musician! Very well done with this iconic song. You've got brilliant tone for a voice, and I enjoyed listening to it this evening; maybe even more if the harmonizer wasn't there the entire time. Keep singing us to heaven.

Thank you Olujay.
Also, thanks for the feedback on the auto pitch, big chorus harmony thing. That is noted😊

Sometimes, I wonder how you do it. Balancing school, family, work and other things. You're really a strong woman and I admire you a lot.

And yes, you're right about needing people in our lives at one point or the other. I mean no man is an island and we need each other to survive.

Lovely piece Sis 💝

Well, I thank God for his sufficient grace sis.
