π΅ Music Lovers of Hive Open Mic community! π
Ksam is here again π and this is the 110th week of our ever-bubbling Music event on Hive Platform, Hive Open Mic. And for this week, our theme is: "Abrazo Musical," which means "musical embrace" in English. This theme was selected by @eugelys
In the light of the theme for this week, I'll be doing a musical embrace with a friend π
I recorded this piece last week, in line with the theme of the week because I know I'll be so busy this period.
I recorded it with the Grand Piano π and I asked a friend of mine to join me by singing. He was quite busy, but he joined me, however, he stayed behind the open Grand Piano such that his face wasn't visible. Well, he didn't want to show his face also.
We played the song by John Legend, ALL OF ME.
The song is originally on Key Ab (A flat/ Fminor) and I have scored the piano lines about 2 years ago.
But he asked me to reduce the key like 1 and half tones in order to accommodate his voice, so that he won't start shouting.
Since the Grand Piano doesn't have the transpose button, I had to play it on Key F. The Key isn't difficult for me oooo, but it wasn't so cool based on the fact that I haven't scored the exact lines on that Key. However, the chords are simple, so I easily played them.
At some point you'll notice some errors though, because it was more like a freestyle and he didn't sing the whole song. Plus, you'll also hear a funny voice from afar π€£ Especially when it almost went off Key all in the name of harmonising π
