The music is all about the promise made by two lovers , ( so ma duro timi o) The guy is asking if the lady will you be stay with him and lady asured him she's going to stay because he's the only one closer to her heart but he's she's scared if the guy will be true to her, despite all the discouragement she got from her friends, she still love him wholeheartedly , that's an unrequited love. She's no ready to give up on him.
Just like i said initially, promise are make to be fulfilled, if we know we can't fufill the promises we make in love , there's no point in making promises.

Hi Mary a great pleasure to meet you, it is the 1st time I listen to you, I must tell you that singing a cappella is not easy, but it is a good exercise to analyze the way we sing and improve our techniques; you have done a good job, in fact I looked for the song on Youtube to know its rhythm and melody, I liked it very much, it is basically of the pop genre. It would be great if for future performances you could post a reference video of the song you perform, so we can familiarize ourselves with the song a little bit.
