Hello dear friends of hive Open Mic. I am very pleased to greet you and return to participate in week 161, with the theme of "original song". For this reason, I present a song that I composed to dedicate to my little daughter Micaela: "tu risa, mi melodía".
The melody of this song came to my mind with the birth of my daughter 5 years ago, but it was only recently that I was able to write the lyrics. The rhythm with which I accompany this song is the traditional merengue of eastern Venezuela. I used this musical genre because Micaela shows sympathy from a very young age when she listens to the #cuatrovenezolano to the sound of this rhythm.
I tell you that I really enjoy singing this song to my daughter, she already knows the lyrics and hums it a lot hehehehe. I share its lyrics with you:
