En esta semana les traigo una canción titulada “AMOR PERDIDO del Compositor Puertorriqueño Pedro Flores en el año 1938. Este bolero un año después, se popularizo en México gracias a la versión de Manolita Arreola.
This week I bring you a song titled “AMOR PERDIDO” by the Puerto Rican Composer Pedro Flores in 1938. A year later, this bolero became popular in Mexico thanks to Manolita Arreola's version.
En 1950 la grabo Maria Luisa Landín, logrando un éxito internacional sin precedentes. Se comentaba que no había hogar en Latinoamerica que no tuviera un disco de “Amor Perdido”, algo que no parece improbable. El compositor Pedro Flores Córdoba falleció el 13 de julio de 1979.
In 1950 Maria Luisa Landín recorded it, achieving unprecedented international success. It was said that there was no home in Latin America that did not have an album of “Amor Perdido”, something that does not seem unlikely. Composer Pedro Flores Córdoba died on July 13, 1979.
Maria Luisa Landín Rodriguez de la ciudad de México, nacida el 9 de Octubre de 1921 y fallecida el 20 de Junio de 2014; fue una cantante mexicana conocida como La Reina del Bolero.

Grabo en el año 1949 el bolero “Amor Perdido” de la autoría del puertorriqueño Pedro Flores, que después de “Las Mañanitas” es la canción más tocada en la historia de la radiodifusión mexicana. Es un autentico clásico musical que ha sobrevivido al paso de los años.
In 1949 he recorded the bolero “Amor Perdido” written by Puerto Rican Pedro Flores, which after “Las Mañanitas” is the most played song in the history of Mexican broadcasting. It is a true musical classic that has survived the passing of the years.
