"Yum" topic caught my attention when I saw the post of @cabelindsay. I have never participated yet in Hive Open Mic, but there is a first time for everything. As the first time to try some new food. Our tastes are different, not everybody likes to try new food. My son is one of those who is reserved a little bit of trying out something different. The same was with me when I was a child, and I remember that an aunt brought me marzipan. I didn't like it much, but now, oh, marzipan is my favourite food when we talk about Christmas related sweets. And it doesn't appear just in Christmas sweets, it is the most important ingredient of a Mozart ball (Mozartkugel) or Mozart Meddaillon. Each Mozartkugel is made of a ball of pistachio marzipan covered in nougat and dipped in a bath of dark chocolate. Yummy.

Because these sweets are named after the composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, I chose to play one super famous piece composed by him. Just a short part of it, the beginning of the first movement of Serenade no 13, for strings in G Major. It is better known by name Eine Kleine Nachtmusic (little night music).

Ah, what a pleasure hearing Mozart performed live on solo piano. This experience is a first for me, and it's a real treat. You play the song so nicely, thank you. Yes, and I'm grateful for your considerate response to this week's theme: "Yum." Thanks again, my new friend.
