Haha thank you. People say that sometimes although I haven't really thought about it. I listen to a lot of traditionally influenced modern music but not much from the Middle East...yet! I've particularly enjoyed Mongolian and Viking music, as well as Baden Powell from Brazil. I do think I've been slightly influenced by the indigenous or mountainous music of Asia, although it's very subconscious as I don't listen to so much from there...yet!
Haha, that's right, and it's funny what you mention with that influence you have with respect to indigenous Asian mountain music. I was influenced in the beginning by southern indigenous music from Latin America, but I went off in other directions in the end 😅
