It's week #174 on Hiveopenmic. I am @rukkie and for this week's theme; Beacon Of Light, I will be presenting a song by Christina Perri titled "You Are My Sunshine.
When I saw the reason why our spotlight artist chose this song, I was touched and this song immediately came to mind.
This song shows just how much of a beacon of light we are to our parents. She talked about how her families were there for her and got her through that phase. We are a beacon of light to our families as much as they are to us. They are a source of light to us even when we have darkness all around us.
I am glad that were able to have that light around you that guided you out of the dark tunnel. You are also a beacon of light to many of us here @gloriaolar, you encourage, guide, and support other everyone around you, me inclusive.
Though most of us don't know each other but the love we all get from each other is so wonderful. Thanks to @hiveopenmic for this amazing community, bringing us all together from different parts of the world to hear our voices, and thanks to you once again @gloriaolar for choosing this theme.

Es la semana #174 en Hiveopenmic. Soy @rukkie y para el tema de esta semana; Beacon Of Light, voy a presentar una canción de Christina Perri titulada "You Are My Sunshine".
Cuando vi la razón por la que nuestro artista spotlight eligió esta canción, me emocioné y esta canción inmediatamente me vino a la mente.
Esta canción muestra hasta qué punto somos un faro de luz para nuestros padres. Habló de cómo sus familias la apoyaron y la ayudaron a superar esa fase. Somos un faro de luz para nuestras familias tanto como ellas lo son para nosotros. Son una fuente de luz para nosotros incluso cuando nos rodea la oscuridad.
Me alegro de que pudieras tener esa luz a tu alrededor que te guió fuera del oscuro túnel. También eres un faro de luz para muchos de nosotros aquí @gloriaolar, animas, guías y apoyas a todos los que te rodean, yo incluida.
